    Hi All

Cadbury World was great today - O.K. not cheap (but I wasn't paying anyway!) but excellent value for money. It took us 2.5 hours to go round the main part and then there was another small part to go round as well. There was just so much there, so many different things - it was fab.

And in other good news today, we are going to get some camping in after all - yippee!!!!! :j

Dad and SM have come up trumps and have offered to take us and pick us up from wherever we wanted to go. As I have said before, it is not the actual camping that causes the problem, but the expense of travelling there and back. So I have found somewhere fairly local that seems to have plenty of facilities nearby. We are going Tuesday to Friday next week - it is all booked. The site fees come out at less than £60 - not bad for 3 of us for 3 nights. The only extra cost will be for food which we would have had to pay for anyway.

Feeling a much happier bunny, or should I say piggy, today!!

    Hi All

I just typed a long post and then lost it when the laptop decided to switch itself off – it seems to be making a bit of a habit of that at the moment. Grrrrrr!!

I had a bit of a lazy day today – relatively speaking. My Avon delivery came this morning – later than normal, it came at about 7:10am (it is normally between 6:30-6:45am). Unusually I was still asleep in bed when it came so it was a very bleary-eyed piggy who signed for it this morning. I then put the bins out (to save DS a job) and then went to the shop to get some milk. I had a cup of tea and some breakfast and then went back to sleep until about 11:30am. Much needed I think!!

When I got up I did some washing and had a bath and then we went into town. I had another Amazon parcel to post – woohoo! I also went to the library to find a map of where we are going camping next week.

When we got back I got my Avon books ready to go out and then put them I out. This evening I have also bagged up all my deliveries ready to do tomorrow evening.

That was about all I did today apart from to make some yummy home-made vegetable pasties, using some left over veggies, some slightly squidgie (sp?) tomatoes, some grated cheese out of the freezer and half a packet of puff pastry that I had in the freezer.

I think I have forgotten to mention my cunning plan about cheese. I mentioned in an earlier post that I wanted to seriously cut back on the amount of cheese we have been using as we have been getting through far too much considering the current state of our finances. I admit I am just as guilty of cutting off a chunk of cheese just to scoff on the hoof as anyone else in this house! However, I still wanted to have some in to use in cooking. My solution? Buy a block of cheese and immediately grate the whole lot and freeze it. This means I just take what I need for whatever I happen to be cooking.

Anyway, I really must head off to bed now. Night all!!

Thanks! Yes at least I am going to get my camping 'fix' - I think I would have been utterly miserable if I hadn't managed it! Really looking forward to it and I am already planning what to take.

Ah yes, the discount shop! Mmmm! We came away with a bag of mis-shapes - Yum!!
