Hi All
Thank goodness it is Friday - I am so tired! This getting up early lark is very hard at the moment!
I had an Avon delivery on Tuesday and I managed to get out yesterday evening - along with both of my helpers - and put all my books and did most of my deliveries (a couple of people weren't in). It is a short campaign again (order goes in next week, instead of the week after) so I am doing a reduced list again - i.e. not doing everyone.
Still need to finish updating my spreadsheets but I plan to try and do that over the weekend.
DS is with us this weekend, so I will probably rope him into helping me with a few jobs:D.
have had to make sure the weekends are the right way round (if you see what I mean) because we are going to a wedding in 2 weeks time (a friend from work) so I need to make sure DS will be here that weekend. I shall have to hire a car (more expense - groan!) but it'll be worth it, and I plan to make the most of it while we have it (I collect it Saturday morning and it won't go back until Monday morning) and do something, go somewhere, though quite what or where I haven't decided yet!
Anyway, must do some work now!
Bye all!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Thanks for your message Dawn. Life has been a bit mad just lately which is why I haven't updated for a while. I am also spending far too much time on Facebook - playing Farmville, Frontierville, Treasure Isle and Cityville. I keep trying to wean myself off, without success!
I am actually feeling quite old today as it is my 40th birthday today! I am still not sure how I feel about that!
OH has given me an Ipod shuffle for my present and I am just trying to download itunes and get started!
I am having a few days off work because it is also half term. Very shortly I shall go into town as DS and I will be meeting OH to go and have something to eat - probably Chinese buffet. We were going to do cinema as well, but OH is working tonight so we haven't got time to do that as well today - perhaps another night.
My Dad took us out for dinner last night - to F&B's ....yum! And I also had a bit of a do at my Saturday evening - just an open house at mine, so not much expense involved. Tomorrow I am on a promise to take DS to the Sealife Centre - using a 2 for 1 voucher on the train. I am back to work on Thursday and so at some point I need to make cakes to take in with me.
Our kitties have a date at the vets on Thursday - Merlin in particular has been getting very frisky and has been trying to roger my fleece, blanket, assorted other clothes, OH's arm and also his brother Arthur. So we decided that it is time to get them 'done'. The cost is actually surprising low (I will wait until the payment has actually been made before I reveal how much - don't want to tempt fate by saying it now) - I can only assume that the vets keep the cost down to encourage more people to do the responsible thing!
Anyway, I need to go and get ready to go out now!
Bye for now!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Life and work has been very tiring and stressful just lately, which is why I haven't posted since my birthday. Oh if only I could afford to give up doing Avon, i might have a bit of spare time and might not be so tired!
Anyway, the good news is that I am so close to clearing my LTSB loan I can almost taste it! My min payment goes out tomorrow and after that the balance remaining is less than the value of another min. payment. I have now reduced my S/O for my overpayments from £50 a week to £5 a week. I don't want to delete it completely until I know exactly what will happen with it. I don't know whether there will penalty fees to pay for paying it off early (6 months early - woohoo! - not bad for only a year of overpayments on a 7 year term loan!)
At the moment I am trying to do a bit of research in preparation for finally sorting my divorce out - something I keep talking about I know! It has been 9 years since my marriage ended and OH and I have now been together 8 years! I have downloaded the forms off the internet several times and I could really just need a bit of advice about how to fill them in - no need and rather expensive to go to the solicitors again. Some samples would be good!
I just hope the Ex has nothing left up is sleeve to throw at me - I wouldn't put it past him!
Anyway, Being Human beckons - night all!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Hi All
Feeling really tired today and not that well either (sore throat etc). I have been really busy this week with work, Avon and baking - we did a cake sale at work on Thursday and Friday to raise money for Comic Relief. I need to do a final count, but together with the sweepstake that we did (something that was in the fundraising pack) I think we have made something close to £200.
I really must update my spreadsheets again - it really is ridiculous that I have not updated my sig since August! Oops!
I shall be seeing my best friend from school tomorrow for what must be the first time in about 9 years! She is coming up to the midlands for her Dad's 65th birthday so we are meeting up and going out for lunch tomorrow. It will be the first time that I will meet her OH, even though they have been together 8 years. It will also be the first time that she will meet my OH even though we have also been together for 8 years! So the 5 of us (inc my DS) are going to Wetherspoons for Sunday lunch - really looking forward to it!
Anyway, I need to go and do a few jobs - she is a bit of clean freak so I really need to get this house looking half decent!
