 Well done Camelot yay !
Had a hectic afternoon with DGD here, and DB2 SIL and DN8.DN very taken with the baby (aren't we all :rotfl:)who has been very good all afternoon, & lots of eggs ,cards and pressies swapped for them to take to their new grandchild, and one they left here for DB1 to pick up.DN has asked if I'll help her make a patchwork quilt for her new nephew. She is very confused by the fact that she is an auntie at 8 yrs old;as it is her sister who has had the baby ,she thinks he should be her brother:D

SIL was very impressed by the cards I have made and said if I make a selection she would take them in to work to see if they sell.If it helped to pay for the materials it would be very handy, but I love doing it -find it very relaxing and therapeutic. The only trouble is I love to sew too,and thats taken a back seat while I've been cardmaking :D

Tea has been consumed and enjoyed, ribs, new pots and brocolli.
Salopman -hi- stop lurking and post more :)

    Hi Everyone,

I'm the naughty one who started out with good intentions but has been really lazy about posting and has just enjoyed reading everyone else's instead...so sorry, must try harder!!.
Big hugs and kisses to all who are feeling low for one reason or another, chins up my lovelies.
Bought the most incredibly mahoosive salmon in T@$c{* yesterday, £15 odd for a six and a half pounder.Well,Doodle picked it actually, he had to have the biggest on the fish counter. Anyway, poached it in the dishwasher as is my method of choice after I lost the fish kettle when we moved to Hotel Lacemaker about 5 years ago.It acquitted itself beautifully, six ravenous people, plus Mr.L the dog, ate til we we stuffed and we have at least the same left for tomorrow.
Did a quick flick through the house this morning, ahead of any possible visitors, think we will have the girlfriends of DS1 and 2 to stay, and the Ex baby's BF as soon as Pesach is over. ( He is Jewish) .It was Ex-Baby's 21st last weekend and she had 65 of her closest friends over for drinks before they went clubbing, so I'm still wiping up from that, really.
Have a bit of work tomorrow, having turned my back on the Law years ago, and having sold my business, I do some freelance marketing consultancies. Am doing some brand management for a firm of high street opticians , and tomorrow I am literally out on the street at the coal face.Hope it's all melted...
Had more great news this week when my Nephew's partner had their first baby, a little boy, five weeks early but so absolutely gorgeous, he must've been in such a hurry to meet his lovely parents, bless him.

I love Easter, Ex Baby was born on Easter Sunday and it holds very fond memories for me, God Bless all of you, no matter what your beliefs are, I hope you feel a bit of the Peace of this very special time.

    Love and kisses xx

    Hello all,

I seem to get later and later posting Took mum and sis out shopping today with DD2, mum does enjoy our outings bless her. Was out fairly early so got to the SM before it was too busy, got last few bits to keep us going over the week end, both DH and I working (sorry BB, not by choice! :o)

I got a turkey crown from MrT for £14.00 and made a lovely roast dinner today with plenty left for packed lunches and butties, got one from the local butchers for Christmas which was lovely as well but a loooooot dearer, may have to reconsider next year.
