morning!
I'm feeling a lot better today:j good job - just in time for a choccie filled weekend:D:EasterBun
Off to work later but it will be a quiet shift as we are one service user down who has gone to her parents for Easter - so everyoneone will be relaxing, eating choccie and feet up with a good film I reckon.
OS - I've cleaned the bathroom, kitchen and got a load of washing on. DH is cooking tonight for DS and his GF who I am collecting later as I'll be at work.
(((hugs))) to those feeling poorly
Have a great Easter everyone x x xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning all, just come back from walking Jack in the sunshine, it was nice as DD is home and she came too so someone to chat to instead of talking to the dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely to hear your news JG that house sounds as if it is in an idyllic place, would be lovely for dog owners. Hope the sale and move go smoothly and enjoy the christening.

But the main reason I went was to replace the two Easter eggs I wolfed down on wednesday. I should put an embarrassed smilie at the end of that sentence but I don't actually feel embarrassed, so I won't. There's no guilt either

:rotfl: for the first time ever we haven't :EasterBun early. This is due to shopping at lidl who don't stock the type of eggs we will buy. So OS but defo not will power. That does of course mean we will have to brave mr s, m, a or t tomoz
Totally forgot i bought hot cross bunnies last week. They're in the freezer (so most definitely cold cross buns, cross cos i forgot them). Shall have on for elevensees
Feeling much cheered by your posts

Morning all,
Bright and beautiful day here :j, had a lazy start to the morning, got the bedding from the spare room in the wm, as little dog decided to roll all over it after rolling in foxes dooings over the field, both the sheets and the dog needed a good wash
Need to have a good tidy through this morning, and more washing to do, I also have some seedlings to pot on and a gooseberry bush to plant out, might make a couple of cakes later on, dad is home for the day tomorrow :T so will make him one.
Had some of the meat pie easter egg last night, my god it was delish, will have the rest tonight with some mash and veg.
I dont like hot cross buns but bought a reduced pack for OH, must get them out of the freezer.
Have good days all xx0 -
Good Morning everyone bright and sunny here in Kent but a bit breezy at the moment
Well I had a fantastic day yesterday and a lovely lunch care of my DD in Blle italia at victoria and we then went to see the show .What a super musical it was.The young lad playing Billy Elliot was just amazing, so much talent for a 13 year old.Thoroughly enjoyed the show ,well worth a visit, and I can highly recommend it to anyone. I was so full from lunch last night that i didn't even bother to make a sandwich.Great day out for us both.Today I shall just potter about and maybe do a bit of ironing and bake a few cakes tomorrow I am off up to london again with my history club we are on a tour of the Midland Hotel in St Pancras.Sound a bit odd I know but there is an awful lot of history in there and maybe pop into the British Library afterwards for an hour or so as its such an interesting place. My sis-in-law from faversham is coming with me and I know she hasn't seen it yet.
All this gadding around, I just hope the weather stays dry and a bit warmer perhaps.I was supposed to go shopping for some food tomorrow but I think I will leave it until monday as I have enough to see me over the week-end
Hope everyone has a great week-end and doesn't eat too many easter eggs
Cheers chums

Morning All (just)
DD I always thought the Easter Bunnie was scary, now I know!
JackieO - enjoy your day in London and glad you enjoyed the show.
JG - Sounds like you're in heaven, hope all goes well.
Not much going on here, resting after my Aunt's visit. Got a load of washing on and the DW going on soon. Seem to have lost my mojo for now, still have got friends coming for dinner tomorrow so looking forward to that, they have been on 2 holidays and I have turned 50 since I've seen them so a big catch up ahead.
Weather here not up to much but not raining so will put the washing on the line. Risotto for tea. Take care. XX0 -
Morning All
DH is working today and tomorrow because the builders are in:mad:. I am not happy about it because I am against people working on Good Friday. It annoys me when people moan about the shops shutting on Easter Sunday as well
Shalva, I hope that you have a happy passover and that DH isn't too much of a pain in the seat.
I must get The turkey out later so that it will be defrosted for Sunday, I would prefer lamb but the price   even though it is on on offer is just too much.
I am off to get dinner ready in a little while, no idea what , so it is freezer roulette
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
