Hey guys,
Long time no reply but I'm still no closer.
I've sent off my questionnaire to ombudsman but not heard anything. Have emailed then asking if they have received my last correspondence.
Natwest after all this time have not supplied me with a SARS reports.
1-They ignored 3 letters
2- I reported them to ico
3- they sent a letter saying they couldn't supply the sar as my address had changed and they did not know that I lived in my new address.
4 - they then send me a letter saying rather than supply you with a sar here is copies of your recent natwest credit card statements (so number 3 was a lie)
5 - sent them letter again requesting and they sent letter back on mint headed paper with my mint credit card number on it saying I need to send another cheque as mine is out of date. I said in the letter I wanted info on natwest loan so confused why mint has come about?
Can anyone tell me what is the correct address to send SARS request if natwest loan as I feel like giving up but don't want to.
Many thanks0 -

Why not contact ICO again and see what they suggest?0 -
Thank you for your reply.
I think I'll try the Telford address this time and see what happens.
Think your right, ill send copies of the rubbish they have sent me and see if the ico advise any more.
Thanks again :-)0 -

Have you sent all communications by recorded/special delivery? If not it gives them some wriggle room whilst they argue they didn't get the letter.
I've also SAR'd Natwest, but did this via RBS in Edinburgh. If you SAR any Natwest address, it gets sent to Edinburgh anyway.
If you SAR Natwest, everything in the RBS group is included. Accounts with Natwest, RBS, Lombard, Mint will be sent to you. Bear in mind they're a massive organisation which has absorbed many entities over the years.
You got information on your Mint card as it comes under the SAR. Even if you only included your Natwest details, they're obliged to search all information that they hold.
What you'll find is that over the next few weeks you'll get letters from various departments, mortgage, credit card, etc., even if it's just to confirm you didn't have a product with that department.
That said, you shouldn't have to do this as you've already asked for the information.
You're well within your rights to refer to the ICO, but it may be worth giving them a final ultimatum.
What I'd be tempted to do is to send a recorded delivery letter to the RBS Edinburgh address (in the stickies) enclosing a copy of your original letter and advising that the 40 days have been exceeded. Give them a reasonable amount of time (say 7 or 14 days) to respond or you'll refer this to the ICO. Enclose a photocopy of some ID, and any addresses you've lived at whilst a customer of theirs - that way they can't argue that they couldn't find an agreement as the address didn't match.Competition wins:
2010 - approx £450. 2011 - approx £800. 2012 - approx £300. 2013 - nothing so far!0 -
