  • Morning everyone

It's the first time I've posted in about 6 months.

I woke up at 5 and was being kept awake by a very active baby( I'm pregnant) but managed to get back to sleep about 7. When I woke up I sorted the dogs out and got on with some housework as apparently I have the whole family descending on us tomorrow for my birthday.

Got to clean the kitchen and cloakroom, but I'm just having a cuppa.

Got to make some cupcakes for tomorrow and then going out for an Indian banquet tonight fir birthday because we live near the coast and tomorrow will be heaving

    afternoon!

    Happy Birthday (again) to Uolypool:beer:

Miffy - your quilt is lovely, must have taken a lot of hard work:T

I talked to my boss and he managed to cover my shift at work as I just dont feel quite right still and would hate to give all the staff and residents a tummy bug over Easter. Am on a late shift tomorrow so should be fully over it by then.

Not done a great deal, WM is playing up and not emptying properly so need to get DH to have a look at it. Managed to do a bit of painting this morning and will finish my pictue hopefully just now.

Not a clue whats for tea. DS is at work and I'm off my food so not got a lot of interest in it to be honest.

anyway better get on, back later x
    Do what you love :happyhear

Well its been busy here for a while..ds had a weeks leave last week so was home for 8 days...not that we saw a lot of him! He managed to go to Eilat, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv visting friends and making the most of his free time...On the friday night he peformed with a few of his music friends for the first time ever, his two sisters came down to give him moral support and they and his girlfriend said he was shaking with nerves before they went in.......Once on the stage it all went great and he says that he was just glad to get that first time out if the way....They did just 4 songs as it was a local band night ,,,,he wouldnt let uu go and watch so had to make do wwith photos and a very dark video!!

Its the start of Passover on Friday night so we are going overnight to Jerusalem.... Its traditional to give the house a spring clean and while we dont go overboard here its been a week of tidying up and throwing stuff away...house is still upside down tho with all the chairs up so I can wash the floors..[ceramic tiles all through the house]......... Theres a kilo of chicken livers defrosting so I can make chopped liver tonight, and meat defrosting to make something with tomorrow and we will take that with us..

Tru..hope all works out for your son:eek: ex gf sounds a joy!!!!!

Hugs and spoons to all those in need....

Molly generally hops on my knee when I go out with her for walkies. She spends ages lagging behind and then I finally give into her and she is up on my knee faster than you can say....

    Happy Birthday Uolypool x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Evening All

Happy Birthday to Uolypool, hope you are having a great day.

Well, my Aunt has gone home, just back from dropping her at the coach station in Glasgow. The traffic was so bad it took us 2 hours to get home! I love my Aunt dearly but she is quite exhausting! Her daughter doesn't like her very much and speaks to her really badly so I like to make a special effort. We have been all over the place and even managed to visit one of her beloved Cathedrals (the smallest in the UK). She also talks ALL the time so DD and I are just sat her enjoying the silence!!

Managed to get all the bedding dried today, it's cold but breezy and the washing smells lovely. Going to make up my bed in a mo. That's about the only OS going on, will probably have curly fries for tea because we can!!

Hope you all enjoy the Easter weekend, hugs to those of you bumped, bruised and feeling down. Take care. XX
