I was in a pet store once, when the owner, who is an exotic specialist, received a phone call from an old couple who had found a spider in their grapes from Asda. They brought it in a few minutes later and it turned out it was a Black Widow. The poor lady had been eating the grapes out of the bag in the car on the way home before she saw it and it could easily have bitten her.

Last I heard was that Asda didn't really want to know about the complaint and the people were taking it further.

We have always been a family of complainers. I'll never forget when my sister got a pack of Jaw Breakers (remember those) off the Ice Cream Man and it was 3 for the price of 2 and only had 2 in the packet. Letter was hastily sent to leaf and my sister got a box of 48 x 3 packs of Jaw Breakers. Phew, have not been able to look at one since!! I am sure we must have been on E numbers for weeks, LOL!!

My mum finds something every week and is always sending stuff off and getting free vouchers, I never find anything - am I lucky or not?? I'll never now!!

I do remember seeing this big rat thing tat had dropped down my neighbours outside toilet when I was about 7 - I still remember it very clearly, LOL, soryy, changing the subject!!

  • I made a complaint a couple of weeks back to Birds Eye. The pack of 4 pies i had bought (2 different fillings) were full of fat and gristle. I didn't enjoy them and as i have a limited diet i had to complain. I was impressed with the response time and i had £6 in vouchers.

I am a bit of a serial complainer too I'm afraid....

Complained to M&S as favorite sweety ( fruit sherberts) only had 3 purple and about 8 of every other colour - purple were my favorite.

Complained to Asda last week as their Chicken Fajita Pack ( all ready prepared just cook it) the peppers and onions were a mess - big huge chunks and the core ( is that what it is called) from the onion was all through it. Got double my money back - Happy with that.

Complained to Walker recently about the Cheddar Cheese and Lamb and mint crisps in the multi packs - does anyone actually like them??- they came back telling me everyone loved them!! I have visions of a huge landfill site filled with them - as they come in their multipacks so no choice in whether you buy them or not. have taking to using them making fish pie, and chicken bake - Anyone want some packets.....

I once bought a lettuce from Morrisons. Some bug had laid its eggs in it and when we started to tear off the leaves several wormy type things, together with loads more eggs were found. I dint take it back, didnt have time and didnt want to store it anywhere until I did! Uggh!!

Needless to say, we never buy whole lettuce anymore!! I wouldnt care I hate it anyway, but I was trying to diet.
