a while ago i found a white piece of plastic in heinz beans, they actually sent me a £5 off grocery voucher, i haven;t bought them since though!

my mum found a cows eye lash in a burger :eek: mr birdseye came visiting after my mum contacted them, quickly took it away and gave her £20 in vouchers

When I was a child we had our milk delivered in glass bottles ...I was glugging out of the bottle (like I had been told many times NOT to do!) when I felt something lumpy ...I spat it out and it was (takes deep intake of breath!) a.....scab !:eek: :eek: :eek: ...never forgotten that !!!:rolleyes:

My mum also found a piece of green plastic but in her marmalade. She is a quiet woman normally but when theres a valid complaint to be made she swings into action....a man from Robinsons visited the house with a large hamper full of goodies!

I am not so good - found a dead fly in a loaf of co-op own bread, went back to the store, they just gave me a new loaf and I didn't take it any further.:doh:

i once ate half a spider ...... It was in a sausage roll pastry. I took it back and they refunded me but i had paid for it to be warm and they gave me the cold refund lol. I was only about 16 at the time. Now i would have complained louder

I found a small hard piece of something inthe middle of my anchor butter last month. Packaged it off with a letter to them. Turned out to be a "dill twig" as dill is used in teh factory for another product. They sent around £15 worth of vouchers for anchor products.

i had a phone call from discovery foods yesterday regarding the foreign object in my nacho tortilla chips.

they were letting me know that they had received it back, the lady apologised and said she had just seen the foreign object and that she didnt know what it was but it looked horrible!

she was forwarding it to another department for a full investigation and they would be contacting me again before the end of the week

I was eating a lovely organic apple from Tesco & then i tasted something funny, looked at the apple and saw 1/2 a maggot!!! EWE!!!!!! Spat the other half out straight away! Didn't complain though, I just guessed with organic you have to expect a few surprises!!!
