Swiss Bank Accounts -Which are the best?

What sort of "privacy" are you after?
Your average UK bank account is hardly public, is it?
What else do you need, exactly?"I don't mind if a chap talks rot. But I really must draw the line at utter rot." - PG Wodehouse0 -
I don't know. I don't have a lawyer and an accountant yet, I'll ask them what I should hide.
And no money yet either? Seems totally pointless making preparations for something that may never happen and is not relevant at the moment.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
:T hahaha very good.Seems totally pointless making preparations for something that may never happen0 -
So, philosophy aside, what are the best Swiss banks to go for?0

I want a place to shelter my money until I can figure out what to do with it. I want privacy from everyone except my bankers. How much do you want to put into a swiss bank account when, for how long, and why?0 -
Has has been pointed out previously there is no such thing anymore. Even the Swiss have agreement with UK government to provide details of offshore accounts now.
I quote our Exchequer "I regard tax evasion and – indeed – aggressive tax avoidance – as morally repugnant" and I have to say I agree with him.0 -
My knowledge is limited, admittedly. However, my understanding is that, these days, the Swiss bank account you read about in novels, or mentioned in films, doesn't exist anymore.0

I'm sure it's a good idea to marvel over the financial philosophies of a public sector employee but I think I would rather draw influence from some real money-makers.I quote our Exchequer0 -
As this post from the OP confirms, (s)he is after tax avoidance.
Nice to see that such people will have nowhere to hide in the UK.0
