Hey Chaps,
I want a Swiss bank account as I want complete privacy. However, there are so many to choose from and I'm no expert on these sort of things. I don't have alot of money to put into a premium account, but one day ha?
Anyway, can I get an account that offers complete iron clad privacy or near enough without having to put thousands into it?

There is no privacy in Swiss banking anymore. They 'cooperate' fully with all the European authorities.0

as a first post . . .
This thread looks like fishing expidition. Not a lot of money, but needs a swiss bank account? The cost of visiting the bank alone makes this sound dodgy.

In order to open a Swiss Bank Account you need a suitcase full of used notes, small denominations probably from the proceeds of crime or money laundering.
Is this the reason for all the secrecy? If not what else have you got to hide?0 -
I don't believe that. What is your source?0

Unless you have lots of money (over £100,000) the saving rates at swiss banks are very very low.
I know because I've lived there and had a bank account there - I think it paid about 1%, when the UK was giving 5-6%...Being brave is going after your dreams head on0 -
