They have already confirmed it is just a bug, how long they take to bother doing anything about it is anyone's guess. personally I suspect they won't even look at the issue until after Easter.

I had a payment yesterday from one buyer which was red flagged. She ordered another item today and the payment for that was not red flagged.

I reckon this "Red Flag" thing might be some new PayPal feature that the coders have forgotten to tell the customer service staff about.

Furthermore, I think that a lot of sellers will now not be covered for something, and when they go to make a claim, PayPal will say "No, we red flagged this for a reason, you're not covered".

    Watch this space.

I think even PayPal would be hard pressed to try that one in this case as all over the community boards it states that this is a glitch and we can ignore it.

We all still have seller protection anyway.

After a flurry yesterday the red flags have now stopped for me.

Yes, as per previous posts on this thread (and the official notification has also been posted) paypal have confirmed it is a glitch. There are warning of the glitch all over the ebay community boards as well.
