Well I had everything needed and still got rammed. On this occasion their own rules were not used and they hid behind the bank decisions.

There is only ONE thing needed and if you don't have it you will not be reimbursed. If you have the POP/COP (and you uploaded/faxed it to them), then you need to ask them why they are not covering you under their SPP section 11.7. It has been known for them to get confused. But it is the COP that will save you.

Had it, faxed it and spoke at great length with regards to the Seller Protection with numerous people. I spent nearly 4 months trying to sort it.

Well, you need to speak again with them. Ask them specifically why you are not covered under 11.7.

If you have faxed the COP and they have received it, there is no case for SPP not kicking in, unless there is more to the story that we have here.

No, the story is a simple case

    Sold item
    Sent Item
    Had feedback, all is good
    Chargeback filled
    Money put in pending
    Proof sent as requested
    Chargeback upheld
    Appeal
    Moan like moany git
    CHargeback upheld
Moan like a moany git etc
PayPal kick me in the.... with an extra £14

After spending the amount of time I did trying to get it back, I am not going back again. The money was written off and its now in the past.

I have had numerous chargebacks closed the incorrect way and have without fail had them all reimbursed. But, then I give the correct info and ask the question why SPP wasn't adhered to.

I shall not labour the case with you as you say it is in the past (although you brought it up). But, the ONLY proof for a reversal being upheld is POP/COP, not 'moan like moany git etc', not 'feedback'....the ONLY proof is COP. If the 'proof' you show above was a POP, then you need one short conversation with them.

SPP also covers the charge. :D

I dont see why PayPal charge the SELLER £14 for receiving what turns out to be a fraudulent credit card used by the buyer. How is the seller supposed to know!?!?!

Just had a Red Flag Risk Alert myself this morning on one of my sales.

Every payment so far since about 9.30 am this morning has had a red flag for me.

I know glitches happen, but why do paypal take so long to sort them out?

Knew there would be answers on here.

We've got 3 red flag alerts on the account. Never seen them before in my life.

    Off to post.

Just had a red flag alert by one of my international sales today. Nothing unusual about the sale, or the buyers feedback. Will be posting it as normal and ignoring the flag.
