How much does it cost to get married?

If you do not regularly attend the church then you may find it difficult to get permission to marry there.
Yes I have discovered that after contacting a couple, so doubt I will find a church. Is your wife to be from outside the EU? If so then you will have to give notice at a Designated Register Office a list of which can be found
Yes, shes orginally from Albania, she is now back there and we are applying for a Fiance visa and need to show a Church or REgistry office booking when applying for a Fiance Visa. But the thing is she is not here in the UK??
My friends were joking with me and said "ohh you should get a PreNup before you get married" How do you get one of those?0 -

You'll need a solicitor for a prenup. Call a few local ones for prices.
Most couples don't have them unless there a big difference in their finances though! Be aware that some people are quite offended by being asked for one!Shrinking my mortgage!
Nov 13 £166,000
Jan 17 £142,9000 -
Too much if you ask my (unwilling fiance) lol xThe feeling i got when i confirmed my place studying criminology at Exeter Uni was brilliant!!!!!

You say you're getting married soon but have got no idea about costs or how/where. You seem to want to just find somewhere that'll sort you out soon. You ask about cost of pre-nups because your friends have suggested you need one.
Have you actually talked seriously about being together, your future, all that a marriage entails? This has got to be the most bizarre wedding planning thread I've read0 -

Hi ellay, I know what you mean. I mentioned our wedding forum on here when op first posted and he didn't post over there. Kinda know why now :rotfl:Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

Prenups aren't (yet) legally binding - they're just an opportunity for solicitors to make money. Your mates think you need one because you're marrying a non-Brit. Shows what they think of your choice. Is this what you think of your choice?
TBH, you sound horrendously unprepared for marriage!"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Is this what you think of your choice?
Not at all, people here have been so rude because shes not from here originally and is a Non Brit. I don't care what people think as shes my choice and shes a genuine nice person.
If we get married in a Registry office can we say whether we want to be married by a Male or Female? Or do we have no Choice?0 -
Thanks for giving us a run down of your own failures in life, but I think the OP was asking an honest and pro-marriage question..
.
This is the FIRST thing I thought about.
Now, back to the question.
It will cost a fraction of the price the divorce will eventually cost.
Why get married just to spoil a good relationship?
Or, why marry a cow, when milk is so cheap?0 -
I was wondering if this was for real but now I know it isn't. Stepping a troll too far...
'If we get married in a Registry office can we say whether we want to be married by a Male or Female?'
