Big hugs Choclover, families eh, you just can't pick which ones you're born into :( but he does have you and you seem lovely *hugs*

Sorry I haven't been able to write replies to everyone, I've done something to my neck and can't move it left, right, up or down :( which is proving particularly difficult to a) do my work as I'm I work in IT b) reply to everyone without moving my arms/head too much.

    From what I recall....
I didn't climb a mountain this weekend I spent most of it in bed trying not to get the threatening lurgy.
Congrats to everyone that's made even a 1p payment to their debt, that's 1p less in debt today than you were yesterday.
Thanks for gardening information, I'm still loving watching my seeds emerge as tiny plants, although some are quite spindly, and I have no idea what anything is other than the pea. I am quite intrigued by one little fellow that popped up with larger leaves than the others, I think he might be cucumber, or aubergine, or swede erm...
I've made another £1 payment to the c/c again today, my statement is reading lovely, for every day this month it has an entry accompanied by £1 credit :p
I've got lots of watchers on my fleabay items and so far 4 items are selling at £5.20 :D

Hope everyone that's poorly feels much better soon.

Well DH has messed up his expenses so they won't arrive until the end of the month

On a positive note, postie has just brought us £50 of M&S vouchers for changing our life insurance to Virgin :T:T So we now have £60 worth which will do for a couple of birthday presents (£10 each) and our next top up shops which should take us through to payday before I have to pay for shopping again :)

Thanks suzitiger! It doesn't seem like I'm getting anywhere, as I've made a few mistakes on my spreadsheet and have splurged on a few things here and there, but then when I look at my spreadsheet at the end of month and update you guys I see how far I'm come in such a short space of time, and knowing that I'm not the only one with no money really keeps me going!

    Hi again guys,
choclover it never feels that I'm getting anywhere when i'm not making extra payments, but I have set up to pay extra on all my direct debit amounts and my most important debt is my rent arrears, which I am paying £50 a month to clear, and I am doing well with that debt. So focus on the positives for what you HAVE paid :T
Im thinking that I might try the payment a day when I have some money, right now I have ziltch but I get some money through tomorrow so i can start using that, i think every little helps, I won't notice a pound a day :rotfl:
Kerri so sorry to hear u got a parking fine, that is SUCH bad luck. You could try writing a nice letter and point out you were only a minute over? It has worked for me in the past...
    :j

It's my grandma's birthday today! 77yrs old so we're all out for a family meal again tonight... Oh dear, we are going to the same place as my birthday meal and the same waiter will be there that they tried to set me up with last time even though 1) I'm not desperate and 2) he looks 12yrs old and 3) my sister has since found out that he's engaged. So..... I've read them all the riot act and told them that I will walk out if they start again as it's humiliating and not funny!!!

On a really brilliant note, I woke up this morning and my peas, onions and sunflowers have all started shoots!!! I am ridiculously excited by it. I'll catch up properly when I get back tonight and thank you all for your great tips on growing veggies xxx
