Nationwide Flexclusive ISA - 4.25%, instant access

According to online banking, my backdated (to when Flexclusive was opened) e-ISA to Flexclusive xfer has completed
Not so good with the xfer in from external ISA.
Funds have now arrived in Flexclusive, but were only backdated to when the xfer process was recently initiated (i.e. Nationwide's BAU date). So unlike xfer from e-ISA, not backdated to when I opened Flexclusive (agent led me to understand both would be backdated to that same date). And not backdated to the Jan 2013 date others have mentioned, but which agent never mentioned to me.
TBH, I'm reasonably satisfied with things as they now stand and having 4.25% on consolidated funds for next 6 or whatever it is months, but I will speak again with the (helpful) agent.0 -
I have decided to take this up with the FOS. I am not happy having the interest only backdated to January. Paul I have sent you a request in a pm.
Let's see what happens next!yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift thats why its called the present0 -

Have you yet got a final position from Nationwide, in response to your formal complaint? Or have 8 weeks elapsed since you raised your complaint?0 -

I am transferring in my Santander One year fix when it matures on the 1st May 2013 and I have it in writing and confirmed on the phone that interest on my transfer will be backdated to the 1st May 2012. I only asked for the difference between what I would have earned on the flexclusive compared to the Santander rate but they have said they will backdate for the full year. Of course this is yet to happen but I will update this thread.
It seems Nationwide are struggling to give a consistent message to their customers!0 -
Nationwide do seem unable to be consistent, ylesia. I have received four phone calls and one letter since registering my complaint with them.
One of the things they told me was that they were being very careful to treat everyone the same and, of course, in this internet age it is quite easy to witness that inconsistency.
Three of the phone calls I received were very reasonable but in the fourth call a lady, called Danielle, was unable to listen to a reasoned viewpoint, being one of those officious persons convinced that she was correct and I was wrong.0 -
I have received a request for a copy of the Flexclusive ISA T&Cs as they were when the Flexclusive ISA first launched back in April 2012.
Luckily, the WayBack machine has a copy of those T&Cs from April 8 2012. So, for those who are having problems getting interest backdated, you can view them here...

Just wanted to share my experience of trying to transfer an old ISA into the Flexclusive 4.25% ISA.
I got the letter a couple of weeks ago, saying that they had made the mistake in the T&Cs, and thay they would honour any ISA transfer request that had already been started, up until the 1st May.
So I went into my local Nationwide, asked for an ISA transfer pack, and walked straight out again. I filled it in, and posted it to the address mentioned (rather than argue with the people in the branch).
I got a letter yesterday saying my ISA transfer was in process, and that it would be complete in approx. 4 weeks. So hopefully it should all work out.Don't pay off your student loan quicker than you have to.0 -
I am also in the process of transefering my legacy ISA into my existing 4.25% Flexclusive ISA. I was previously told I could not do this. I think I should receive an amount of backdated interest due to the incorrect advice - is there a recommended way of requesting this? Thanks.0
