    In: nothing

Out: 2 big boxes of junk (nothing salvageable for freecycle or ebay)

I do have a pile of stuff to ebay but will be away for 2 weeks from 22nd so worried in case people don't pay promptly! or should I still list on thursday (taking advantage of 5p listing) and say all purchases must be paid within 24 hours of end of auction? Reluctant to mention on there I won't be about for 2 weeks as its easy to work out where I live on there.

    Right..

decision 1 : bag up the outgrown clothing into sizes and bung in the local paper... £10 for a binbag of clothes isn't unreasonable is it? It will all be next/bhs and maybe a couple of bits from the catalogue (redoute mainly!)

decision 2 : Stop buying stuff for the children.. they wear school uniform for 2/3rds of the year they don't need many clothes.

decision 3 : reopen my website selling my childrens outgrown bits.. it was linked to my ebay account ... heehee

decision 4 : if it hasn't been worn/used and isn't likely to be.. get rid! Regardless of how much it cost!

decision 5 : this next lot going on ebay might well be my last.. so it has to be good!!

And who knows where the bag of remaining maternity clothes was put? I need to hand it over to my sis.. :D .. and I have a huge pile of prem baby stuff I need to fling.. not to mention the nappies that can go!.. BUT.. where are they???
pigpen- that was a conclusion I came to, after reading a thread on Organized homes forums (sadly not there any more and I lost my saved stuff when our home pc died). I just stopped buying and let them use up/outgrow what they already had. With 1 boy and 1 girl I am rarely passing anything down though (exception school uniform), so it is quite easy for me to de-clutter kids clothes.

Currently I have my 2 sharing a wardrobe, I need to get to end of laundry:rolleyes: to see what ds actually has and hasn't got before seeing if he does need anything.

I'm coming to that conclusion too..... don't forget that Netmums : www.netmums.com have local freeads too:

Have you been keeping your eyes open for a nearly new trampoline or perhaps a spare buggy for Granny's house. Perhaps you want to de-clutter your house by selling those children's clothes that have been mounting up? Advertise to hundreds of other parents, all living locally, by clicking on the "Add a message" button above or see what's already on offer by clicking on the links below.

Our local board seems quite busy - methinks I'll try getting rid of the bigger garden toys/bikes, etc through here - at least I won't have to accept Paypal..:D

There's other parenting website that I'm sure had 'local' classifieds... I'll see if I can find them too.

Does your local hospital have a baby unit? Would the midwives be able to use the prem baby stuff there or maybe pass it onto someone who could use it?

Or how about an NCT sale?

the local hospital can go swing.. they are disgusting in there.. I wouldn't set foot in it if they paid me!!

My sister might be needing it yet so I need to find it and wait until August to find out.

They don't seem to have NCT stuff here.. back of beyondland

    Morning :p

My current Ebay listings end tonight: 6/18 with bids totalling £5.21 and 20 watchers over 10 items.

Gonna have a busy night on Turbo Lister after work getting everything ready for the 5p listing day!

    Mortgage-free Glee!
feeling a bit down today. Tired as its the 3rd day commuting into london for a workshop. In addition the ftb's solicitor is starting to make demands that look like we r unlikely to exchange friday. We have dropped the price down to the minimum we can sell at, so they can forget us footing any bills. We will still be moving out friday, but if they pull out it will be a real prob, so let's hope it doesn't happen. Due to relist ebay non-sales tomorrow. Lady coming tomorrow to look at washing machine. Otherwise OH is off to the tip tonight to get rid of more rubbish.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

Pigpen - I am shocked and stunned that you are ending your relationship with ebay - are you sure there is no way you guys can work it out???

I plan to get some stuff on this week, not that concerned about 5p listing as I think there is always a great slow down in sales after such days.

I may have mentioned before that I was off work for 7 weeks with a virus thing; returned part time 3 weeks ago only to end up in the back of an ambulance on monday with chest pain. Spent the night in hospital, have got another infection related to the virus and off work again.
Some of you may know I loathe my job so that is now my mind made up to take a huge chill pill and be off and not worry what people think and eventually find another job.
Anyway all of this on here is to say more time to declutter and get organised. DH moving to garage with bakery business, builders start TODAY - after 18 months of talking etc etc................so today truly is the beginning of the rest of my life.........well my cleaner, flour free, normal kitchen house anyway,

Hope you all have a great day
