Likes coffee breaks and admiring handy work, if on a time scale is better to bring in help so you have time to plan next order of works.
Cost of tool hire and time exceed cost of hiring a pro with tools, allowing time for more coffee, thread catching up, admiration and planning.

I had to laugh when I tried to buy 2 pairs of cute reindeer christmas socks for my LO's and was told that they were unable to sell them to me for Health and Safety reasons!! I asked them why and they said that didn't know but perhaps they might fall apart in the washing machine or something :rotfl::rotfl:I think perhaps it was the fact that they were 4p!!
off to catch up now - hope everyone is having a good day

Hi all, Just starting to learn the ropes thanks to you all. Haven't found anything in my local T's as it seems too on the ball. Did find 2 boxes of aero trees but they went through the till at 65p. Went into S's today and got 6 x palmolives, 2 x l'oreal wipes and the cravendale along with a few whoopsies and I paid £1.95. Will keep my eyes open when shopping from now on and hopefully I will find something to post about and return the favour to you all.N1LDA0

I'm exactly the same....in fact we have had some 6p donuts today. I love the cheap croissants as they are my favourite, never thought to freeze the cookies though, I'll have to try that one. What I do with them if they are getting a bit soft, is whack 'em in the oven for a couple of minutes and they crisp up again.
I freeze stuff that says keep refrigerated too. As long as it doesn't actually say "Not suitable for freezing" in it goes!
Definitely! With meat/fish based products I just always make sure that they're thoroughly defrosted and then cooked until piping hot. I've even frozen pasta salad before and microwaved it with grated cheese sprinkled over and it was delicious! Where there's a will (and a robust stomach) there's a way:rotfl:
I think Im going to get a T-shirt with this on

Hugs for all those who were up early with children. My two get up at 6am for school Mon-Fri and at weekend are rarely up before lunch which means it's hard to plan anything.
Thank you for all the giggles I've had this morning reading back over last night a lovely way to start a miserable wet Sunday:)
