Can anyone tell me, if i wanted to post something 'large letter' size 1st class (a large letter stamp is 75p). could i use 2nd class stamps (75p's worth) instead or would it then be classed as 2nd class rather than 1st?
    TIA..

Afternoon/evening all. Just having a rest T our gorgeous hotel before dinner. Popped into the local S this morning for a drink and to use some Palmolive vouchers and spied some rtc Lego with 70% off - small box sets of little boats and police bikes from 3.99 to 1.19 and a plane down from9.99 to 2.99 iirc. Not sure if it was store specific - it was the Tr0w br!d93 store. Great party presents, I thought

Thank you snap ant for the Shrek DVD set - my two will love it

Someone was asking about homemade pizza earlier - celebrate??? - my sister told me this and it really is tasty - mix together equal parts tomato ketchup and tomato pur!e with some oregano for the pizza sauce. - great with T value ketchup!

Catch you all later - must get ready!!

ARGH! My Price check has come back for the Pilgrim's Choice as a NA :mad::mad: I'm hopping mad - should've been £2.49 back for each, and I could've got something else if i'd have known it wouldn't check. Compares on Mysupermarket - same weight and everything. Should've been a £7.47 JTD in total as I bought three blocks. Anyone got any suggestions of what to do? I'd get the B1G2F in Coop but i'm not sure I can return cheese to store? Is it worth a call to CS?

Not sure about labour costs for the tiling.. its worth paying slightly more for floor tiling..(being a well travelled section) as a good job will last!
secondly dont worry about the 'main job' .. I put in two new kitchens last year on renovation projects.. managed to fit all units wall and floor, and tiling, got a plumber in to fit the sink pipes etc, electrician to hook oven up and sign off sockets etc, and a good joiner to fit the worktops..
saved a lot of money as the kitchen fitters quotes were astronomical:cool: good luck

Firstly, sorry folks if this becoming the "Artha asks DIY questions thread":o

Mica, when I get around to doing the main kitchen job I'll be fitting all the units, plumbing, wall tiling and decorating once I've taken down the ceiling and had the electrics rewired, new ceiling + ceiling/wall skim and hardwood floor fitted by tradesmen.

Most of the worktops I think I can fit myself(but last time was 25 years ago;) but was considering getting a joiner to deal with a seamless join I need on a corner. In your experience is it easy to get a joiner to deal with just worktop fitting(and the routed flush join on a corner which I believe a special jig is required)?
    Awaiting a new sig

I just park at the far end of the car park and do a circuit of the trolley bays, keeping my eyes peeled between cars as I go, then on the way back to the car I do the same long way round detour :)

And we need to remember that Miss Laid is very very small....much easier for her to womble.
In fact, if anyone at her T's notices a receipt being blown along the ground, lift it up and you'll possibly see Arrietty Laid running along underneath it :D

as long as the weight is under 100g and your package meets all large letter requirement stamps to the value of 75p should be fine .

mark you letter as 1st class tho' .
