On the subject of whether you "lose" your £5 off if you return something on a £40 shop, I have experienced both...so like all other things Mr T - it's the luck of the draw who serves you!

It's nice that they are so reliable and consistent - that's why we love em!

    :D

Seconded, this is my experience also :)
Can anyone else hear a feint chink chink, glug......chink chink, glug in the distance??

Ah yes, that'll be the sound of my hens getting slaughtered ;)

FK I'm reporting your wagon to trading standards, it's clearly not fit for purpose! :p

    Lovely stew earlier btw :T
Oh come on!!! Tesco can't get it right when you hand over a receipt let alone don't have one!!!

If its a Tesco own brand item then they will usually exchange/refund at their discretion.

If its not a Tesco own brand item then its purely and totally at discretion of the person/store you speak to. They are under no obligation to give you anything.

My usual positive experiences are that they will exchange something in the same department. For example if you have a lindam bedguard (or 4 or 5 lol) they MIGHT allow you to have nappies or baby wipes to the same value. They might tell you to naff off though........but you can only ask! :)

Seconded also (or maybe thirded or fourthed by the time I catch up :p:o)

Cadburys Wishes scanned at 65p yesterday.

Just some info about L2S vouchers:

Have spent one £10 in Homebase, no change given, as expected.

I asked the policy in Homebase the other day before using a voucher and was told they give change upto a total of £1 in each transaction. I purchased on2 item at £18.99 and used 2x £10 voucher and was given £1 cash change.
    Hi everyone

(((Hugs))) to all that need one

Great post today, 12 bottles of M&S wine on the doorstep

When you say 'on the doorstep' do you mean that literally?? I was expecting my delivery of 4 cases today but had to go out for 2 hours early afternoon. When 5.30 came and went with no delivery I checked status on tracking thing and it said delivered at 13.07:eek:

It stated that a card would be left to tell you which neighbour it was with/what safe place it had been left in....but I have no card. I called CS and they confirmed it had been delivered but had no detail on where it was. She told me to go and have a look around outside...def would notice all that wine.....and then go and ask neighbours I have asked the closest 3 but no joy:(:( I really don't know what to do now, she said she'd call me back tomorrow but it wouldn't be 1st thing!

Anyway I better get to bed, I'm shattered today and I'm sure LO will have me up early! So hugs to some and well done to most on LTS vouchers/freebies/wins/SSM vouchers/DTD wine/bargains....goodnight :)

Hi all, behind again, tried to catch up but my heads a jumble.
OH got a call back regarding an interview he went to aaaaages ago and they wanted to offer him a job, problem is its a big cut in money due it it being less hours, but he hates his current job and would love to do the new one (by the sounds of it they would love to have him), been trying to work out if we would afford it, plus looking for a job for myself, but it's not looking good. Anyway, I'm off to bed, hope everyone is ok.
3Dogs great news about getting the forms and everything sorted :)

Awww nice to see you posting Beki :) Good luck with the job hunt and for your OH too. I hope you get it all sorted :A

Hi, Have been trying to do this but only get the £10 - can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

After you put your payment details, go to the next page and around where it says the delivery amount, there's a voucher drop-down box, you should be able to select £20 off from there, hth.
