Lala says big congratulations:T:T
I told Lala I wanted a picture by my name so as I would recognise when I was posting:oLala very patiently talked me through what to do.After getting it all sorted I then decided the picture resembled an old lady (which I am but dont like to admit) trouble is I cant remember how to change it now,but it is a lovely hydrangea:rotfl::rotfl:
Thankyou for that we go to the doctors on tuesday and can ask then:)
OldBear not to sure what you are implying about being placed betw, een Lala and QPR:eek::eek::eek:but Lala found it funny when I showed her;)
Pleased to say Lala in good spirits today not sure if its the new hairstyle I have created.Took the plaits out this morning she now looks just like a blonde Kate bush(I keep asking her to sing wuthering heights:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:but she is not impressed.)
She manage to put a bit of mascara on with her good hand so this has also made her feel better(she did poke herself in the eye a few times)
Cooked alovely lamb stew and made a nice multigrain loaf out of you know what. She has lost some weight since I have been looking after her as she cannot open anything herself and has to ask if she wants a bag of crisps or anything. She tried to open a box of thortons the other night when I had gone home and had to give up;)
Now we know why Lala rescued the hydrangea plants.:rotfl::rotfl:
You know whats mean something totally different in our house! When my DGD comes, she always asks for a you know what from you know where. (Ice cream from the freezer - she doesn't think that her parents know what she means!) Or it'll be the not the you know what but the you know what from the other you know where! (something from the goodie cupboard).
Glad that Lala's getting on ok. Watch the blusher tho' otherwise she'll end up like Aunt Sally.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Good morning everyone!
Had an extremely busy day yesterday! Left the house at 7am and didn't come back until 9pm! I was so tired that I went straight to bed without brushing my teeth.
I think I've got another busy day ahead again. Please could someone update me on what happened yesterday? Any new 1p items/glitches/cheap items? Feel free to pm me if you don't want lurkers/tesco employees to see the info. I'd really appreciate the info.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

On the subject of whether you "lose" your £5 off if you return something on a £40 shop, I have experienced both...so like all other things Mr T - it's the luck of the draw who serves you!
It's nice that they are so reliable and consistent - that's why we love em!
I had already decided that if they deducted the £5 from my refund, I was going to ask for replacement voucher to use when I re-buy the "correct" item/s as otherwise it would mean I'd lose out on my next shop......and see what they made of that!My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Ooops! Forgot to say....Morning all
Dreary and cold down here today....unless it vastly improves tomorrow it looks like typical bank holiday weekend weatherMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Will deffo remember this - I have already done one £40 shop this week so am struggling to get the second one - hoping to go tonight and see if DD likes any clothes then I can also use the clothing voucher - am I right in thinking hand the £5 off £40 spend first then hand over the £5 off £25 clothes one - will it work?0 -
Good morning
Picked up 6 bottles of Tesco Finest Grande Cuvee Chablis last night, OOD label £9.99 each or 2 for £12. so after dtd , 5% wine discount and £5 off a £40 shop £4.06 total spend, oh and another £5 off £40 shop for next week, there seems to be alot of wine labels ood, however the prices are still the same, even had to forget my wallet in 1 of my locals, still got no red wine for Easter Sunday even Marks have let me down on the french red only white on the way the Red has a expected ship date of May, oh well it will still be a bargain if and when it arrives0 -
Morning guys! Has anybody ordered any Rocket Dogs yet? Have just got 2 pairs of lovely sandals for my hols!! Have told Dave that I would put them away until June, but might need to do a few practice runs and wear them in before!! What he doesn't know, hey........!
Got a brill DTD yesterday! Have been putting off getting a 'tommee tippee magic mat' as they are so expensive, but neeeeeeded one as Baby Grohl is getting so independent at meal times that she wants to do it all herself.
We went to Mr T's St*ck*rt yesterday and while wandering around the baby isle, I saw some mats with a £1.99 SEL in front! From a distance, I didn't see that the SEL was for the food storage tubs.........! Picked 2 up and got charged £4 each at the till!!! Off to CS for a chat.........£8.04 refunded!0
