Morning all, well it's finally stopped raining here and DS seems better today so all is good.
Busy day ahead, bathing my grandma, preparing for DS's 2nd birthday party and then meeting a friend. Might fit a little trip to T's in too as i'll need a few bits.
Think I might have taken on a bit too much for this weekend. Working 12 hour shifts tomorrow day, Saturday night and Monday day. Also birthday party Sunday afternoon at ours so need to blitz house, prepare food and bake, ice and decorate a cake. Who needs sleep anyway!!

Not too sure about returning the wine without a receipt, however, have you tried the online price checker? I got a £20 jtd voucher last week after getting free dtd wine, which meant in the end that T paid me more than £25 to take six bottles away. :D:D

    thanks but don't have receipt.

Okay folks. I know I haven't been around as much as usual and no doubt have missed out as a result. Going to try and get myself back in line and in order (please feel free to send me electronic slaps if needed).

Reason is a good one mind....had a lot going round in my head (and still have tbh). We're on the edge financially and have had some news.

Pitter patter of more diddy feet in October. And after my 2 Miscarriages I've been a nervous wreck. Now I know that splodge is ok....its the money stuff that is worrying me like mad. However, with a 5 year old and one on the way there's nothing much I can do about that except be here and be as thrifty as I possibly can.

So any prods, slaps, suggestions gratefully received. Will try to keep my feet on the ground and in here.

Will deffo remember this - I have already done one £40 shop this week so am struggling to get the second one - hoping to go tonight and see if DD likes any clothes then I can also use the clothing voucher - am I right in thinking hand the £5 off £40 spend first then hand over the £5 off £25 clothes one - will it work?

    That's exactly what I did. :D

What good news! I am sure if you keep your eyes peeled, there will be plenty of deals, free nappies (huggies at the mo, I think...) and you will manage better than you ever thought possible! :T:T
