If you are not paying for it, you're not the customer; you're the product being sold.0 -

Once upon a time I made a strategic purchase of a bottle of Grouse and managed to loose the receipt on the way home.
Now this was at a SS on a Friday eve (6pm ish) ... I went back Monday (mid-day) and requested a duplicate receipt cos I needed it to return the bootle.Silly me had bought the wrong type of whisk(e)y and was in BIG trouble from the (fictional) OH cos I had lost the receipt.Anyhow, SA asked if I had the bottle with me cos she would have just done a swap for me ... unfortunately I didn't so she got a duplicate for me and I had to return it another day.0 -

One and a half hens lay 9 eggs in 9 days
Four times the hens (i.e. 6 hens) lay four times the eggs
4 x 9 = 36
I should add, BensonsMum, that was very quick. I've known a class of computer students take 2 hours to come up with various answers to that question, most of them wrong, so well done. :T :TLast ciggie - 28/01/2012

I should charge for this! PMSL!
Yeah , i have one last question for ya.....
Last week, i saw a coat in a shop window for £97 but couldnt afford it, so i borrowed £50 from my mum and £50 from my Dad.
I then went into the shop and bought the coat.
The assistant gave me my coat and £3 change...
I then gave my Dad £1 and i gave my mum £1 so i now owe them both £49 each... yeah?
now, i have got £1 left, plus the £49 i owe mum and the £49 i owe dad...
49+49+1 that i have in my pocket =£99
Where is the other pound? It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
