    9 days = 1 and a half days x 6, so
One and a half hens lay 9 eggs in 9 days

Four times the hens (i.e. 6 hens) lay four times the eggs

    4 x 9 = 36

I came up with that first then couldn't remember how i did it so did it a different way and got it wrong:(:(:(

    Yeah, here's one.

If one and a half hens lay one and a half eggs in one and a half days, how many eggs will six hens lay in nine days? :p

    6 x 9 = 54

Yeah , i have one last question for ya.....

Last week, i saw a coat in a shop window for £97 but couldnt afford it, so i borrowed £50 from my mum and £50 from my Dad.
I then went into the shop and bought the coat.
The assistant gave me my coat and £3 change...
I then gave my Dad £1 and i gave my mum £1 so i now owe them both £49 each... yeah?
now, i have got £1 left, plus the £49 i owe mum and the £49 i owe dad...
49+49+1 that i have in my pocket =£99

    Where is the other pound?

:D I like that one but I got it.

    The £49s are negative values the £ is a positive so you don't have 98 + 1 you have 98 - 1 which is the 97

Well I was away a lot longer than I thought! Sis blocked my car in so couldn't drive to supermarkets so I just wandered down to Asda instead. It was only light drizzle as I left but when I came out with my bag of whoopsies, it was ice cold rain blowing straight in my face!! :eek:My whole head and face had brain freeze which started my migraine off again! :( So terrible idea! I bought my 2 bags of Natural Selection, a 6 pk pork+pickle pies, covent garden veg soup carton, lurpak garlic butter and an 'ultimate steak pie' :p for 33p :D

Just been watching telly with Mum since 8, wasn't OBEM fab?! I will miss it :(

According to this one below, I sounded blonde :rotfl:

    Dear Fudge_Cake

Several of us are on diets and would like you to stop torturing us with all this talk of chocolate, many thanks.

    Yours, Miss Fondant Cake-Scoffingham

But seriously, you are so lovely making all these things, and they'll feel the love with which you made them xxx

:rotfl:Yes I thought you were blonde but it definitely wasn't an insult....if it was I'd be doing a pretty bad job given that I'm blonde myself :p But surely me imagiving you blonde is preferable to me imagining you're male?!:p It's quite funny when you see a pic of someone though, you kinda forget how you pictured them before and can't imagine them any other way.

Dear Miss Slimmer of the Year 2012 nee Fondant Cake-Scoffingham

    KEEP GOING! :T:rotfl:

Appologies dieters I shall aim to slim down my sugary sweet extensive descriptions :silenced:

Sorry you're both feeling ill, hope you feel better soon xxx

TBH I have been feeling 'wrong' all day with a horrible headache, it may be eyestrain but I'm getting my trigeminal (facial) muscle twitches again, which could be either that or a migraine. Either way I'm meant to be going out with the girlies tomorrow night so I think an early night's in order for me, trouble is it's bin day tomorrow so I have a lot of sorting out to do :o

    And thank you lovely :Axxx

So sorry you're feeling rubbish aswell. I hate when you just feel 'wrong' and there's no other way to describe it. Really hope you're feeling better for your big night out with the girls tomorrow (or today now technically!) know you're looking forward to it :D I'm going out with the girls too for a boogie :j (If I feel better :()

If I buy the wrong toothbush heads tomorrow ;) do you think I will have problems getting a refund seeing as my total on the receipt will be less than the refund ?

    And a jtd of £11 :D

Edit: No matter, I'll just add a couple of knives to bump it up.
