Evening gang   sorry for late post, haven't even caught up yet, only up to post 8201

We went into town and Alan had his eye test then ordered his new glasses. Then we looked around the small market that was there and went in a few shops, before having a coffee and cake in Greggs :D

Back home and Alan had a nap before we went along to get shopping in at March Tossco, and picked up chinese takeaways for us and Linda. Very nice it was too, although I just had egg fried rice with sweet & sour sauce

Alan said he does feel stronger now :D:D

We are going to the car boot in the morning, calling at Lidl for it opening at 10am to get some of the bacon which is on offer this weekend. The forecast is not good, more showers, so I don't imagine there'll be too much going on at the car boot but we will still go for a natter with friends and maybe breakfast in cafe ...... anyway, I gotta go to get my flowers :D

Now for some catching up for half hour or so

enjoy the car boot, hope you get ur bacon and love the fact you have posted its not a complete day unless i know how you 2 are xxxxxxxx

i'm only a couple of years older than you and i rememeber watching re-runs when i was a student - the best part was the flimsy sets, anyone slammed a 'door' too hard and all the walls shook :rotfl:Oh, and spotting who had gone on to do a turn in Neighbours as well. Those were the days, that and Supermarket Sweep....hmmmm now that sounds strangely familiar to some of us visiting Tactos, reckon you'd get a DTD on one of those inflatable bananas? :rotfl:

I saw it first hand (I think!) when my Great Gran was babysitting! (She loved the theme tune, so had to watch it!) No bed times with her, the wall's certainly were flimsy but the sheet press was solid as a rock!!! :rotfl:

Well, during the 'good old R&R days', they certainly banned or threatened to ban quite a few regular claimants! Some of the stores got extremely unpleasant about it and the general opinion was that Tesco (or any other store for that matter) can ban you for no reason at all and they don't need to explain themselves! I looked seriously at the idea of buying a few Tesco shares to wave at them if they got too funny with me.

Tesco can and will ban anyone they feel like banning and the chances of getting any real media interest in your case are probably very low.

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.
