Afternoon all, sorry but haven't really had much of a chance to catch up. Have spent the day with FIL, and im pleased (pleased may sound strange to some of you but thats exactly how i feel) to say that he passed away peacefully this afternoon, i had been with him for most of the day, his brother and an old friend from when he was at school had come to visit him but he was sleeping for most of the time, i did get a few smiles out of him but mostly he slept. I left him to go and pick OH up from work so he could see him and before i had got back he had gone and passed away. I was only saying to OH last night that i wished he could just fall asleep and go that way. He wasn't in any pain at all today which was lovely and im so happy that there was no pain come the end.

So RIP Michael you were a pain in the !!! at times but a lovely man who i don't think anybody anywhere would have had a bad word to say about. Sweet Dreams

It is lovely that he just passed away in his sleep, not in pain. You, your OH and your family are in my thoughts hun

Just to say thanks to everyone who's posted their pet photos today. I've really enjoyed seeing them all - there are some real cuties out there.

Thank you 3Dogs for Mr 3Dogs hats photos - they're great, especially the animal one. It was good to put a face to a name (as I'd only seen his knees and toes before).

I'm having to do a Quiz membership cull as we are getting near capacity - and new players want to join in

I've deleted those who haven't played for a long time, so no worries if you do play regularly

Also a few of you have 2 IDs on the Quiz - I've deleted the ones you haven't used.

I will now PM those who do play both IDs & ask which ID they want to keep

The bars never closed, the bogs might be from time to time if Leenie hasn't cleaned them.:eek: Help yourself to drinkies.:)
