Has anyone else spotted oddness on price checks they've entered with the Simply Add's on?
Hi QoC
Bear with me, hope this makes sense !
You bought 2 SA items - 1 at 3.25 and 1 at 4.00 - total should be 7.25 .
With the glitch, £6 off, so 1.25 to pay.
It is all to to with the proportionate price - I think !
So, of your 'original' total price of £7.25, your £4 item is approx 55.2% of the total. 7.25 x 55.2% = 4.00
You actually paid £1.25.
Therefore, for the Price Check, it splits up your multi-buys.
So, as you actually spent £1.25 on the 2 items it splits the £1.25 in the same proportions as before.
Therefore, 55.2% of £1.25 is 69p.
1.25 - 69p = 56p.
Therefore, for price checker, it works out the cost of your 2 Simply Add items as 69p and 56p respectively.
Hope this makes sense !
I'm sure if I am wrong, someone will correct me !!!

I did manage to get to a Mr T today. No 4p items, and no simply add items. Did get the chocolate eclairs for 27p and they are very nice. I hope you all have a good day.Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0

His turnaround plan involves recruiting more than 8,000 staff to improve levels
of customer service, particularly in its fresh food departments and its larger
stores. It will spend £200 million on extra staff and on the training and tools
they need to improve levels of service.
Personally I think the 8000 new staff is a bit of spin, when you consider they have a total of 2975 stores in the UK & that they could be part-timers on 12 hour contracts its a drop in the ocean.0 -
Had a look in Y@te extra before work today looking for 4p clothes - Nothing there.0
