    Good afternoon everyone. x

Went shopping this morning as my mum and I needed some stuff. Had to pop in to Mr S as my mum likes their deli cooked meats better than T's. Got 2 Palmolive through SS checkout while I was there.

Then on to T's, where I got 4 SA chicken tikka masala. A bargain for £1! Left some on the shelf.

Got stacks of 4p items too. Everything from men's scarves, women's scarf & glove sets, to children's sets (including Peppa Pig and Cars).
Will post last 4 of barcode later if anyone interested. Just seemed to be all reduced priced winter scarves, hats and gloves though. Loads left in my local Extra.

Took my haul to my mum's along with the shopping I dropped off for her. She chose a couple of scarves and a scarf & gloves set. Left 4 of the men's scarves for my brothers.

Will use a couple of the sets myself and one or two of the scarves and have already earmarked most of the children's sets for friend's children (too small for mine).

My mum has a doctor's appointment this afternoon as she is experiencing alot of pain. :(
She's only been taking Paracetemol so far, but has some Codeine too, although she's reluctant to use this as she's worried it will make her constipated. I really think she needs stronger pain medication to make her more comfortable. She has fluid on one of her lungs, but hopefully the medication she's been given will reduce this and help her to breathe more easily soon.

Sun is out here finally. Rained like mad this morning. Hope you're all having a good day. xx

Just a quick thing. I've edited your post to just leave the last 4 digits of the barcode. We do this as we only need the last 3 or 4 to make a positive id on a product but it means any Mr T manager can't read here, tap the code into his system and find out if/where any of that stock ia in his store and whip it off the shelves. ;)

Thanks. I've edited the post now :)

Nice one. Keeps the trouts on their toes! :D
  • Hi all! Just back from a great T's shop this morning! Managed to get a £31.54 shop down to.......£4.04!!!

Spotted a great DTD opportunity on Thornton's Moments. A large cardboard display at end of aisle with yellow £4 label. Remembered seeing the same chocs in my other local marked at a tenner so thought I'd give a scan and BINGO that's what they came up as! Bizarrly, the yellow label was correct - ending 24/04 I think so must have had 2 barcodes of the same item and some scanning at £4 and some at a tenner I guess. Wasn't brave enough to buy loads but got myself a bit of frozen stuff to use with the Price Flop coupon and then put 2 jars of choccies in too! B/C ending 7861.

    Original total: £31.54
    Coupons : £3.50 (Price flop and 2 x McCain)
    DTD : £24
    Total Paid: £4.04 :T:T:T
  • Are you up and about now FK or are we all in the bed with you:eek:

It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Avery brief visit to Tesco resulted in 2 packs mens boxers (3 in pack) £1 each, 6 pairs mens socks pack £1 and a Kiddiezoom Video Camera £14.

None of the undies were recognised so SA had to put price through manually. Took a punt at the Vtech as thought folk had been talking about them before.

thanks, but is it massive? and does it scan?
Only just back so delayed response for you AAlllank. It's on an A4 piece of paper and scans easy peasy at SS checkout. Only use 2 in S though as more than 2 will flag up the SA.
    Tiger
