oo oo. Have I missed a good un.

    Cheap Palmolive? 4p clothes?

Mum is looking down tonight. She is aware that she is rambling so it must be really frightening. I feel that she is better than a couple of nights ago though.

The brain scan was a CT scan to look for clots or tissue deterioration which might account for the state of mind. I was told it could take up to 48 hours for the results?!

On the way back from hospital and dropped on yet 3 MORE bags of Bramley apples at 15p a bag!!! Might have to freeze a few pies at this rate! :)
JJ, hope the scan comes back earlier than 48 hours.. It must be really tough on you all at the mo, you are in my thoughts and I hope your mum improves rapidly.

And more apples? apple pie, blackberry and apple crumble, pork, sage and apple, apple chutney, apple tart tatin... I'm now running out of apple inspiration :D

Thanks Locarr :T It was your post the other day which prompted me to sign up to Bzz

I only joined a few days ago, did all the surveys and linked to my FB and have a score of 6.0 :)
:T I did all the surveys, linked to fb and twitter and mine is 3.4! :rotfl: Maybe the surveys were really quizzes?! That would explain a lot! :rotfl:

    Evening elite.....

I'm set up for 20 posts per page and I am at least 16 pages behind..... think i'll have to miss a few of them out on my catch up but hope you all had as good a day as possible. Hugs to anyone needing them. :grouphug:

Mum wasn't up for going out to Mr T's but I took my sis..... showed her a couple of tips, and we picked up a couple of simply adds each but all 4 are for her as I have 3 in my freezer and 1 more in my fridge.... and me and DS have also eaten 2. Gave her some vouchers, but it was only a flying visit so didn't get very much and she said I can't believe what you get and how much you pay... you'll need to give me lessons. On way out I grabbed handful of mags... (yay they had some today,) and on the way back in the car I started trying to explain how to combine using mag vouchers.... normal vouchers and JTD refunds...... Oh dear, I think it all got too much for her, heart of gold but not the brightest spark. By the time we got back she was totally baffled!!! I think it'll be down to me to carry on doing her 'special' shops. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hello Elite

For those that didn't see me waffling on earlier, my fridge freezer broke last night. So I spent from 7am to 2pm cooking everything that had defrosted ..... I made/cooked

    beef casserole x 10 portions
    chicken casserole x 4
    lamb stew x 4
    bolognese x 4
    salmon fillets x 6
    chicken portions x 4
    steak stir fry x 3

I did have to throw out some ice cream, and old ready meals, but not too much.

On the plus side I did lose 6 pounds at SW, that's for the last 2 weeks, and therefore 2 stone in total :D
And my new fridge freezer arrives tomorrow evening.

Tinyshoes - Sounds like you had a tiring day with your mum, but it's good to hear you had a nice lunch out together. I will PM you asap, but I hope your mum is enjoying getting out to the day care centre.
