Couldn't see the price flop booklets anywhere when got to T's
Grrr missed whoopsies thanks to having to queue for about an hour to return something on electricals - not exaggerating!! Although I did get a couple of things from the left overs. Why is there always pak choi left? We love it but most people must not.
Wondered around what seemed like a pointless trip until I found a CS who found me some price flops for me :j So my trip was back on :)
I ended up getting £49 down to £11 and some good till spits. I now have a £6 off £40 to use, so I will be printing my SSM MOCs.
I also got a till spit for £1 off any pilgrims choice :rotfl:
Well done Ausmummy - that's a really good reduced shop. And a till spit for £1 off pilgrims choice, ha ha, don't they all realise we'll be buying that in the next few days?!!

As far as I know POUNDLAND have NEVER accepted coupons
Home Bargains did until recent months. Now they don't

    I am a bit grrrrr

Went to T's. Nothing. NADA. NOT A THING

No 1p chocolate, no 4p clothes, nothing. I scanned tons of stuff too :-(

Went to A's for the palmolive, but messed that up a bit as I got 10, not realising they were £1.28 or on multibuy. Still worked out acceptably though as with multibuy it works out that I paid 28p for 10 bottles.

I dont know why i bother with vouchers in A's, they are never straightforward. Today they wouldnt scan or go through manually, so in the end she had to get a supervisor who took ages, and people behind me were taking all their stuff off the conveyor and going to the next one. I ended up making jokes about how bad i must smell! Then she had to get someone else to come and override something so that I could pay!

So not an entirely wasted trip but still disappointed :-(

oo oo. Have I missed a good un.

    Cheap Palmolive? 4p clothes?

Mum is looking down tonight. She is aware that she is rambling so it must be really frightening. I feel that she is better than a couple of nights ago though.

The brain scan was a CT scan to look for clots or tissue deterioration which might account for the state of mind. I was told it could take up to 48 hours for the results?!

On the way back from hospital and dropped on yet 3 MORE bags of Bramley apples at 15p a bag!!! Might have to freeze a few pies at this rate! :)

I see someone pregnant in tesco I will think - "is it?!"
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Well I'm fast approaching 6 months so you have 3 months to try and find me. I normally have a toddler in the trolley so i have to avoid the toy aisle and choc aisle when he's with me!! Isn't the etiquette to say "Are you a friend of Martin?!" he he, I soooo want to sidle up to someone and say that.. think I'll make a move one day and then look like a numpty when the OP says no and looks at me weirdly!
