WOWIE lokitty what an absolutely amazing and endearing first post!

:hello:Hello and welcome to the Elite :A

Thank you so much for joining us and posting such a wonderfully detailed post, not boring in the slightest, infact the opposite. I'm actually falling asleep but I stayed to read your post and reply! :D

I can tell already you're going to fit in perfectly here, never fear about etiquette on this thread. By in large, anything goes and I mean anything. As I'm sure you've read in posts even over the last day, we discuss everything not just Tesco/bargain hunting :) It's a bit of a support group for many of us :o But that's what makes this thread special, in a way we're family :A

I'm so sorry to hear of the losses you've previously suffered. I can't even imagine losing my Mum and to lose your MIL in the same year too :( Thank goodness as you say you had the love and support of your OH (Other half;)), DD (darling daughter;)) and friends to help you through. You sound like one tough cookie :A

And what an absolute nightmare you've had with your house!:eek: These people make me sick, preying on unsuspecting, trusting people and stealing their money :( I'm so sorry you've been left with such a large debt and a half finished house :( Hopefully we'll be able to help with regards to lowering that debt by saving you some pennies....though it sounds like you're doing very well already! :T

Yes whoopsies are the term we use for reduced items :)

Thank you again for such a fab 1st post and start of your MSE journey

And that REALLY is time for my bed! :rotfl: Night night!

Morning, busy hour or so ahead. The cat has just come in peedled well through and deposited a mouse on the carpet, which has swiftly shot under the sofa. Now to go a-mouse hunting before work.

Quick trip to T's on the way to work methinks, Gladysrocker has posted on the 1p thread to "look out in stores tomorrow for ladies, mens and kids hats, gloves, scarves etc as all the ones that have previously been in the sale are being reduced to 4p and there is still loads of stock hanging about. Once the staff realise its scanning at 4p they'll take it off sale and dispose of it!! "

All thanks to Gladysrocker on the 1p thread.
