Good morning to everyone who is not dashing about on school runs or off to work. Its mornings like this that make me happy I am retired:oI am off to Lalas shortly and am pleased she only lives a five mins walk away so I will not get too wet.Reading her posts I think I am in for a hair washing session today, plus any other chores that need doing.Hope you all manage to get what you are looking for today, I do not think I shall be needing these with all this rain we have:cool:

Morning All - not so sunny today eh? Hope everyone who was suffering yesterday is feeling rested and better.

No Ts today as my house is full. (Probably not compared to some of yours but full enough for me!!!) Instead I am traipsing around looking for something to wear for my niece's Hen Night. It is glam jeans I think - cocktail making lesson (as if I needed a lesson on that!!) then meal, then clubs. I am sooo worried about the clothes! Does anyone else get like that? My sis is gorgeous, slim and has great dress sense, so do my nieces. Me - well, I scrub up OK, but am just not so slime! AArrghh - body crisis here!!

Anyway, ahem...back to business. Smart1e - how do you tell when it is staff discount on receipts? I have had a couple which I have wondered about, and so not PC'd. Just wondering!

Actually there are receipts I don't put through, if they have staff discount on them - not sure why but that's my only restriction on them, otherwise they are pricechecked and CC points claimed!

Has anyone seen any price movement on the toblerone's with I love you all down one side? I've an express full of them, but they're still marked up at £4 odd :rotfl:

You won't ever see a reduction if its the milk chocolate Toblerone. The "I love you" is just a sleeve that has been put over a regular Toblerone. The barcode on both is exactly the same so the scanners will never distinguish Valentines stock from regular stock

I was watching Christmas cracker Toblerones for months before realising this.

Did my first Asda womble this afternoon in a very disappointingly clean carpark ... 4 receipts = 2 too short + 1 too young + 1 that produced a 53p voucher! :T

Looking forward to seeing what the 'too young' receipt produces tomorrow :)

Right I'm APG hooked already ... just entered the 'too young' receipt from yesterday and got a £2.62 voucher ... back in seconds!

I'm still waiting for the £25 one too. I hope it arrives but I can't complain if it doesn't. I keep casting a loving eye at my year's supply of Fairy liquid! :rotfl:

    Morning All ,

Issyc , that about sums up how Snap & I feel about the SSM MC £25 vouchers .
We aren't greedy people and appreciate the items that we've already received for free so if it turns up then it's nice , if it doesn't then that's it .

Just of to the shed of boxes .:)

Have a great week ahead All .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

Borrowed from gladysrocker on the 1p thread :) (please thank OP)

'Keep a look out in stores tomorrow for ladies, mens and kids hats, gloves, scarves etc as all the ones that have previously been in the sale are being reduced to 4p and there is still loads of stock hanging about. Once the staff realise its scanning at 4p they'll take it off sale and dispose of it!!'

Off to bed now, sleep tight all :) x

I nipped into Ts yesterday looking for 1p chocs (none :() but by the scanner there were crates of hats, gloves etc. It did cross my mind to scan them but there was a clothing SA hovering about so I didn't :(
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist
