My bad I seem to have got the wrong end of the stick I thought they were asking about discounts coming off multi buy whoopsies
no bad there, it took me a while to work it out tooI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. The Chinese food would have needed to be 2 for £5 or 3 for £7, it mainly (not always) seems to work when its a "stacking discount ie the meat trays are £4 each or 2 for £7 or 3 for £10, they have worked several times for me
The thing is the Ken Hom I put through WAS on a stacking discount offer of 2 for £5.00 :-(queen_of_cheap wrote: »the glitch isnt working on Ken Hom, its Simply Add
Thanks, but I'm talking about the more general multibuy discounts still being appleid to whoopsied products hereApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

If he cleans the car this morning, does that mean you can pop up there afterwards?!
He made sure he finished doing the inside just as Ts was shutting and has said will wash the outside tomorrow as wanted to plant some potatoes while the sun is shining.
So looks like I might have to abstain tomorrow too.Think he is doing it on purpose.....thing is car was really bad, I usually do all the inside and he washes the outside but with all the extra work with mum it has been the last thing on my mind. And I want a nice clean car for weekend away in Cardiff. The Welsh don't need to worry I won't be visiting any Ts while there. I will be stuck in a sports hall.

My first attempt at this resulted in failure
I scanned the following at SS
2xKen Hom Chicken in Black Bean Sauce (whoopsied from £3.54 to £0.89 each)
1xbottle of Pepsi at 69p
The Ken Hom is on multibuy offer of 2 for £5. So I expected £2.08 to come off my bill since 2x£3.54=£7.08.
What I THOUGHT would happen was it would tally up as 89p+89p+69p=£2.47 MINUS £2.08 multibuy leaving only 39p to pay. A pretty sweet price for 2 meals and a drink!
But it didn't, it came to a total of £2.47, even after clicking "continue" and going to payment options which is when my multibuys have always been calculated on the SS tills before. I had to make an excuse that "I just realised, we had chinese last night and I don't think my wife would want it so soon again, can I put these back?"
Am I doing something wrong here or does this not work in every store? It was an Express I tried it in if that makes a difference
I am truly gutted as I was looking forward to using this glitch and couldn't believe I found an opportunity so soonThe Chinese food would have needed to be 2 for £5 or 3 for £7, it mainly (not always) seems to work when its a "stacking discount ie the meat trays are £4 each or 2 for £7 or 3 for £10, they have worked several times for me
The ken hom is only on 2 for £5, it needs to be on the stacking discount like Misslaid said, That means it has 2 seperate deals on it, like 2 for £5 AND 3 for £7.What I think happens is when they get reduced it only takes off one discount but leaves on the other;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

I'm with Miss Laid. My understanding is that this only works if there are two differential offers on the same product line, eg say 2 for £5 and 3 for £7 or whatever0 -

I also think you need to have both of the discounts available on the one product; look online and you will see some have 2 for £5 or 3 for £7 on, for example, chicken breasts. Not sure it always works though.
Managed to pop into Ts after buying school shoes. I am still not that brave I realise - couldn't bring myself to stand in the crowd who were waiting for the whoopsies. I noticed that the staff were bringing out just a tray at a time today - not seen that before. There didn't seem to be that much meat today. There was one large family waiting, and when I saw them later, their trolley was crammed with whoopsies. Bet no one else got a thing; me, I like to share so wouldn't ever take everything from the shelf. I did get some double cream for 19p - have put it in the freezer - hope it's OK!!!!!! See you all tomorrow - off to hem school trousers:(0 -
