    Hi all,
I went to Morrisons this pm for some quickies...got there just at the right time! Got loadsa bakery items at 25p or less! Some chicken too at 49p each for a pack of 1kg, ~400g of fillet etc too. Good day!

Did anyone get a voucher booklet for Tesco CC a few weeks back? Mine had 2 double points vouchers in it! And some very useful other vouchers!

Why do people always turn up uninvited just when you and your house looks like hell?

    So true.

The day before NYE i went out. Was only meant to be for a "couple", ended up being a 4am job :rotfl:

The next day i was suffering a painful hangover on the sofa in my dressing gown.

There was a knock on the door and it was OH's friend. He popped in, walked in the front room to see me on the sofa. My hair looked liked i had been dragged through the bushes backwards and the make up from the night before was down to my chin. I honestly looked like a man in drag :rotfl::rotfl:

Pah! I have a £5 off wys £40 and can only think of £5 worth of stuff I want ... any ideas? (BTW I got 10 x 12 tins of dog food last Sunday)

Ideas? Just buy the £5 of stuff you need and save yourself £30? :)

Hiya. Nice to see you back. Regarding wedding presents, I buy a bevelled mirror like this one http://www.themodernhome.co.uk/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=1839 usually from poundstretcher (about £6) then get it engraved with their names and wedding date (about £12). They look lovely and a lot more expensive than they are. Some engravers won't do mirrors but I found one who does, and a good job he does too. :)

Thanks hunni, that is such a good idea :)

    Sorry for the delay

If it is a double discount offer i.e 2 for £6, 3 for £8 then the discount will still apply when whoopsied.

    Hth

My first attempt at this resulted in failure

I scanned the following at SS

2xKen Hom Chicken in Black Bean Sauce (whoopsied from £3.54 to £0.89 each)
    1xbottle of Pepsi at 69p

The Ken Hom is on multibuy offer of 2 for £5. So I expected £2.08 to come off my bill since 2x£3.54=£7.08.

What I THOUGHT would happen was it would tally up as 89p+89p+69p=£2.47 MINUS £2.08 multibuy leaving only 39p to pay. A pretty sweet price for 2 meals and a drink!

But it didn't, it came to a total of £2.47, even after clicking "continue" and going to payment options which is when my multibuys have always been calculated on the SS tills before. I had to make an excuse that "I just realised, we had chinese last night and I don't think my wife would want it so soon again, can I put these back?"

Am I doing something wrong here or does this not work in every store? It was an Express I tried it in if that makes a difference

I am truly gutted as I was looking forward to using this glitch and couldn't believe I found an opportunity so soon

Hi everyone, hope you're all well.

No Ts for me today, its a working day - DH and BIL are up on the roof and I'm working my way through a mountain of washing. Quite fancy being kidnapped but have had no takers yet (get it? takers? oh i make myself laugh!)

Totally OT but has anyone used Victoria Plumb? Its a bathroom place and their cloakroom / washroom sets look very reasonable but I wonder about the quality - input would be really useful if anyone here has used them :)

The Chinese food would have needed to be 2 for £5 or 3 for £7, it mainly (not always) seems to work when its a "stacking discount ie the meat trays are £4 each or 2 for £7 or 3 for £10, they have worked several times for me
