Hello hello hello....i'm only lurking these days as my gorgeous baby refuses to sleep and on the rare 20 min stints when she does i run round like a crazy person trying to clear a path through the house to the kettle/toilet etc :D
Anyway - just want to send hugs out to all those that need them... (((((((())))))))
And ask some advice - any deals out there for wedding presents? looking to get something that looks more expensive than it is :)
Hiya. Nice to see you back. Regarding wedding presents, I buy a bevelled mirror like this one http://www.themodernhome.co.uk/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=1839 usually from poundstretcher (about £6) then get it engraved with their names and wedding date (about £12). They look lovely and a lot more expensive than they are. Some engravers won't do mirrors but I found one who does, and a good job he does too. :)
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist

LOL this happened to me BIGTIME yesterday. I was in the kitchen, 11.30am, greasy hair and dressing gown.

Doorbell rang, friend dropping something off that I had lent her. My OH answers the door and then decides to invite her in!

In blind panic I rushed to the door that leads from the kitchen to the garage. he then decides to make a cup of tea and sit in the kitchen and have a drink and a chat. All the while Im stood in the garage needing a wee, and terrified that OH is going to come into the garage for something while shes there!

Im in there for about 30 minutes, feels like hours. There is no other way out, the longer it went on for, the weirder it would have looked if I had been discovered. OH claims he thought I was in the bath!

Thank the lord she eventually left, and for about two hours my other half could not look at me without having hysterics! :rotfl:

That is funny:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I hate it when people turn up and I'm all at 6's & 7's, usually I'm tidy but it's make-up:oI hate answering the door or going out without my make up on;)

Come on Happy, 'fess up;)How many burgers did you have for lunch?:p

Lala you so need to read the book that cured me of my RSI, The Mindbody Prescription by Dr John Sarno. HONESTLY!

OK seriously convinced now:pJust going to hunt the internet for it. I didnt think the cider vinegar would work, I usually poo paa stuff like that, but I have had loads of time the last few weeks to read about IBS and with the vinegar and a drastic diet change I really, really cannot believe the difference:)
You wouldnt believe I trained as a counsellor for 3 years would you?so know exactly what stress can do to you:o
