Midwinter, thanks for the reply. That sounds like a very good idea!
Where can I buy nicotine gum from and will it stick to dentures?:rotfl:

    I got mine from T's.

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=261151029

2mg strength should be fine if she usually smokes around 20 a day or less.

Quite a nice mint flavour too.

It's not very sticky, but couldn't be certain it wont stick to her dentures!

Make sure she has tissues etc to hand, so that she can dispose of the chewed ones though :)

I dropped her off at 7.30a.m. thought I might get to stay with her for a while but was handed ward phone no. and told to call at 2p.m. (she's 18)
One of the teeth being removed is an unerupted one in her palate so I reckon she'll be tender for a week or so.......
Hi MB.. hope your DD recovers ok - tell her it will deffo be worth it for the future. I decided to have a brace fitted when I was aged 27 (I'm now 34). Didn't need a brace when I was younger but in my twenties, two wisdom teeth came through and I noticed it pushed the front/side one out slightly (no-one else noticed, just me). So I took the plunge and it was the best thing I ever did.. The brace only stayed on for 18 months but I've got perfectly straight teeth and people always comment on me having a decent pair of gnashers..
But tell her to avoid curry or yellow coloured food as it can stain the little clear squares that attach the brace to the teeth. Although i found that by sloshing beer or water around in my mouth between mouthfuls stopped the staining - aren't I disgusting:rotfl:

Off now to find a decent recipe to for candied angelica. Slightly annoying, I found one a few years ago that required a couple of days to do and it was wonderful, but can't find it anymore! Anyone with decent recipes?
Sorry Jane, I don't even know what candied angelica is!!

Oh dear Mr Tinyshoes is not very happy with me, he found the 12 bottles of fizzy water I bought yesterday hidden in the boot of the car. :o

He was so pleased to see a few going out the door yesterday for Debs and now I've added to the stash again. Just cannot resist them at 10p a bottle, when it is something we actually buy. ;)

I should have remembered they were there when he mentioned going to the tip, good job I had already removed the tins of mushy peas and value penne. :D

Snap-ant hope you feel better soon. x
