On the subject of SSM Mission control, I am waiting for 1 x £25 LTS voucher, and 'a goodie bag with mixed household and beauty products'

Hope they turn up soon. Has anyone had that goodie bag yet?

Snap - I'm waiting for exactly the same. I hope they come this week whilst I'm at home to receive the letter and parcel as it's such a nuisance to re-arrange delivery or go and collect.

Yep thats about right. We now keep 11+ in the title simply so the regulars can identify the thread easily.

Oh, puzzle solved.... I didn't go back as far as a no. 10 thread... LOL

Evening all - It was so nice to be welcomed back to the thread this afternoon with open arms.... everyone so lovely .... I have to admit to having a giggle the other day seeing Happy and Karlie causing havoc in that 'other place'.....
Not sure I can give you a perfect answer aau, or if anyone has answered this eveing as I am just back on line and started catching up, then saw your question......
Basically as I see it there were aprox 11 members in the original thread when things were going crazy with the original DTD deals... and that number gradually grew as more and more of us found out that Mr T seemed to be happily supplying 'free' shopping.... Those were the days..... I was late getting involved, but enjoyed getting maybe 1 or 2? items from Mr T that Mr A was selling at half the price! Dare I drag up those memories? ;)
Someone, I haven't a clue who.... (maybe someone knows?) just started refering to the group as the 11+..... and the name just stuck! So it really doesn't have any meaning.... Its just those who started, and those who have joined in since.....
I have always noticed that anyone who is polite and speaks kind words is more than welcome to be included in the '+' ...... and as long as those rules are kept to there is no 'clique on MSE' as I also noticed was mentioned on 'that other place'! :A

OK... back to the catching up! :D

Me and HC84 do like to cause a bit of trouble every now and then.:rotfl::eek:

    Wet Wombled Receipts

I Have any of my fellow womblers tried ironing a receipt? If so, was it successful as I think I'll be too embarrassed to use it in its present state.

    Don't do it!!
Ironing will turn your reciept black becuase the paper is heat sensitive. Just smooth it out a bit. I've handed over a tyre tread marked receipt before:cool: (well it was worth £12-odd, wouldn't you??). As long as they can read the numbers at the bottom it will be fine.:D

Ah, I thought maybe there were originally 11 Elite that banded together and formed the thread. I figured it evolved to 11+ when more than 11 people were contributing regularly ;-)

Glad someone else thought the same as me! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Off again... still catching up! :D

Both fine.... thanks for asking QoC.
Freya was a little jaundiced at first but that's cleared up and Michelle is kernackered but that's to be expected....especially with the other kids off school at the mo!
We all went out to lunch on Saturday and Freya slept the whole time :T
The only thing Michelle is a bit concerned about is Freya's belly button!! It's a massive sticky out one...looks like the tied end of a balloon
It's not a hernia and they've said it MIGHT get smaller so we're hoping it will, or when she's older she won't be wanting to wear bikini's :D

Tell her not to worry about the belly button. My wee one was exactly the same it was. Like a cabbage patch dolls belly button. People told me all sorts of old wives tales like tape a 2p coin over it. Few years later and she has a perfectly normal inny. When she had t shirts on you used to be able to see it but hey presto left well alone didn't make a fuss and now it's perfect.:)
:A:A I want to save money plz help :A:A

:jI'm new to all this but will learn quick:j

:hello:Evening lovelies! How are you all today? Good I hope! Did you all have sun today like me? It was very windy but lovely and sunny :j

Busy day for me today. Visiting Grandfather this morning, blood test, docs, met a friend and took doggies on a long walk, just been whoopsying at A's and had to come home and wash my hair to try and relieve yet another migraine :( But all in all a good day :) Bloods were ok too :)

My Grandfather's nursing home is actually really nice but it's sad seeing people in such a state :( Really makes you think about how life is so short :( and that we should take the time while we have it to truly make the most of our family and friends, listening and loving one another. I don't want to have any regrets or go to bed on arguments, I want to know that I've given my absolute best to everything and everyone and if I fail then I know that atleast I tried :A

Mum got roped in to looking after everyone as she always does! :p She's already made friends with them all, he's only been in there a week and it's a huge nursing home with one to one carers so you can tell how friendly she is! Anyway the guy in the room next to my Grandfather was in a right state as the woman in the room opposite was in his bed!! He was in his wheelchair in the corridor screaming blue murder so Mum intervened and calmed him down while a nurse saw tot the lady! The man got a bit overfriendly and started telling Mum all these suggestive jokes!!:rotfl:Mum didn't know where to put herself! :rotfl:

I phoned M's HO this morn as I found a local number instead of the dreaded 0845/0870 number  But I spoke to a lovely lady who told me to take the cake back to store which is what I expected anyway. Even though I bought it whoopsied for 25p I was refunded £5.50 :Tand the cake's being sent off for investigation. I'm sure it will just come back as inconclusive but I was adamant it needed testing as it tasted poisonous!

Received my Kinder bueno TMF and Fairy platinum MBG today :T Still no LTS voucher, I'm not in any rush I just hope it comes! :p

A's whoopsies managed to get some milk but they only had whole :( and me and Mum are trying to be healthy (or she's trying to be healthy and I'm trying to be supportive! :p:rotfl:) But 10p milk is 10p milk so she'll have to cut back elsewhere! I've made some very good friends in A's ;):TThere are a couple of SA's that are just so happy for me to get all the bargains, it's like being in the twilight zone compared to everywhere else! :p One of these SA's was reducing tonight and having banter with the customer in front of me saying everything should be 10p so I picked up some Boost cake bars as I'd been wanting to try them for ages and asked if they'd be 10p. He asked how many I wanted, I said if they're 10p I'll take 2 :p He said and if they're 3p you'll have all 3 right?:rotfl:So of course I said yeah! So £1.50 down to 3p :T 12 pints milk 30p, iceberg lettuce 15p and 3 packs Boost cakebars 9p :D

I also bought a 710g jar Haywards silverskin onions....I suspect it's store specific but they're rtc at 25p (on SEL)

    So total = 79p :T

Right then off to catch up :A Might not get very far, I'm already sleepy tonight!:p

I've just been to CS to try and get a reprint of a receipt (I genuinely lost it and it relates to a £4 JTD). CS said they can only reprint 2 a receipt if it's from the last couple of days and can only add CC points on within 2 weeks. Although tbh, they say anything so I still can't tell you if it's true or not... we all know they make up the answers as they go along!:rotfl:

I normally never have a problem when it's over 2 weeks. depends on the person serving you though. And whether you distract them good enough:D
