Worth a go,you have nothing to lose :)

My mother once took a pair of sandles back as they started coming apart after a couple of wears, manager examined them thoroughly and said "Oh I see,I know what you've been doing...you've been wearing them on the beach!" to which my mother raised her voice for everyone to hear and very dramatically said "oh my gosh, how silly of me,sandles on the beach! I should have realised you can't wear sandles on the beach! and promptly held her hand out for a refund :rotfl:

I was once told by clarkes that the reason my sons shoes broke were that he wa playing football in them at lunchtime! I asked what he wa meant to wear in the playground and they said plimsolls!

To the sniggers of customers I sais let me just get this straight the school shoes are for wearing when he is in the lass room but not to walk or run in

    Cue manager and refund!

I'm just going through the rest of yeterday's wombles: Apart from the one I mentioned last night with a date of 18/07/11, I picked up a £5 off wys voucher dated 18/02/12, and a regular receipt dated 14/02/12, plus two good unclaimed cc points. Only trouble is one of those is dated 10/03/12 - I can't remember, but have a feeling you only have 2 weeks to claim points; can anyone remind me please. It's not the end of the world; 15 points available, but prob missed!! Honestly, the wind must have cleared this lot out of somewhere; my Ts is usually spotless!

I've just been to CS to try and get a reprint of a receipt (I genuinely lost it and it relates to a £4 JTD). CS said they can only reprint 2 a receipt if it's from the last couple of days and can only add CC points on within 2 weeks. Although tbh, they say anything so I still can't tell you if it's true or not... we all know they make up the answers as they go along!:rotfl:

    Here's my T adventure:
    Total spend £49.13
Used £5 MOC £40 spend, £5 MOC £25 clothing spend, £1 flash MOC, 2 Huggies coupons and a £9.60 JTD. Total down to £12.61 with a £2.06 JTD due back... plus the £14 shirt I bought "may" be too small so I will require a refund:j:j:j

I also got a womble from 3 days ago, someone spent £20 on 5 easter eggs:eek: Hope I get something back for that too.

Oh, one last thing, nearly got a great DTD. finish dishwasher tabs, 39 in a box, original or lemon. OOD SEL stating 8th April, £10.29 down to £5 so a good DTD BUT it scanned as £5 in my store so looks like they've extended the offer but not put it on the SEL so be very careful.. They are £7 in A so a JTD too.

I always try to pull shoes apart in the shop before I buy! It attracts a few comments from sales staff but shoes should be able to stand a reasonable amount of force by virtue of the job they do. If they don't pass my durability tests, they stay on the shelf!

  • went to my local and managed to get paid to take away some pull ups and wipes as they still had the offer price on lol

then went to another store and got kate moss perfume and mint sauce for free

had the results back from my mums tests but was not good news at least tesco has cheered me up a little lol

Don't get me started on Clarks shoes. 9 months it took to break them in and they chewed up my feet/heels something terrible. By the time the uppers had worn in the soles were worn out.:mad:
