OMG Ocado just rang me back and they want me to fax or e-mail them a utility bill as proof of address - what?! It's a grocery order !!!!!! and my card and my Ocado account are registered to the same address!

I said I don't have a scanner or fax and all my bills are paper copy apart from credit card bills which I'm not prepared to send for obvious privacy and security reasons (I enjoyed saying that! :D)

I was put on hold again and then she said I could post a copy of the utility bill!

I said I'd leave it because seriously, I can't believe how much hassle they're giving me over an online order, I have never had to do this for any other company! I asked to speak to a supervisor because I want an explanation as to why they can't just put the order through, one's calling me back, I'll be interested to hear the reasoning!

Surprised at Ocado, this sounds more like a T :rotfl: Good luck sorting it Kadison (and well done on losing your stone from SW, I'm just catching up and reading back from yesterday).

Happy Chappy.. just had to laugh at ur remark...
Clarks are just not as they used to be... anyways ..ok for mens shoes but I never buy at clarks cos ladies are too old fashioned., well in my opinion!!

Hubby has so many pairs of clarks and they usually last about a good 6 months from regular wear,, but last couple of years they seem to only last 2 months or so and they start to fall apart... so hes not been buying them lately cos of the poor quality... think all made in some cheapo factory in China!!

Looks lovely (apart from the brown sauce and chips) but FOUR hamburgers?:eek::eek::eek:

They were only Sainsbobs mini burgers. 2 of those is a normal burger. ;)

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

    My proposed shopping for delivery
I know my local store doesn't stock all of the value items ( yet they let me order them) so they will have to find suitable alternatives ;)

Anyone know if there are any money off codes ?

hi Decay...like your style...but will the delivery be actually coming from your local store? If i order over the internet, the order is picked and despatched from another store a few miles further away from my local...not sure why...but it has more stock than my local :)

Just thought I'd mention it - didnt want you to get your hopes up just in case the delivery comes from a different store which does stock the value stuff!!! :)

edited - just catching up and can see that other peeps have already told you this!!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Tweets, did the chocolate roll just go through at 37p, or did it have a reduced price sticker?

Thanks :) There was some in the reduced chiller, but as no reduced stickers, presumed T's were trying to pull their normal fast one! lol

Good afternoon all. Hugs to everyone that needs them and best wishes to all who have poorly loved ones.

I should be sleeping but even though I'm the heaviest sleeper I know, sleep has eluded me today. Not nice since I'm back on tonight at work and need to be in top form. My body doesn't seem to care about it at the moment, though...

I was just wondering, if I can be really cheeky and ask whether or not there is some cheap choccie going around from easter or so? Don't really feel like leaving the house but have to force myself to do something since I can't sleep, so was thinking of picking up some sweets to share with the rest of the night staff. After the last couple of nights, I think everyone needs it. ;)

    TIA
