No snow but defnite temperature drop Was getting to rather like the warm sunny days. But the good news is I am hitting the Lakes for the long weekend and snow up high would be welcome. Ideally a good few inches dumped today and tomorrow, and then glorious sunshine to follow when I am up there . Seems mad packing winter gear when I have been wearing shorts and t-shirts.

Any Eliters in that neck of the woods?

Morning! All this talk of cold and we were out in shorts yesterday. Silly South! It is getting crispier, but we'll still be up to 18º today.

Good morning. It's a snowy south Wales here this morning and very cold! Kids were so excited to see the snow they jumped out of bed but they soon had a moan when I told then that it isn't enough to stop them from going to school! Lol

I want warm weather and sunshine please we are supposed to be going to port eynon (gower) on the weekend!!

And another who totally agrees. Very sad to see that there were two casualties recently. This thread is a haven and welcome place for everyone, everyone has an equal voice, and we all play out part in making it that way and keeping it that way

Morning all! No snow here, just wet and grey.

A little question, please. Where in the world could I find the cheapest hotel room I can book for this week? I don't want to go and stay there, it would just be advantageous to me under their rewards scheme to book another night.

Edit: the cheapest I've found so far is Goa at £7.

and I have done the BIGGEST gaf with a great whoopsie. We have a stressful few weekends with lots of family coming and I am doing the meals... In a moment of confusion, last night I got out the turkey (yes, whoopsied from Christmas) to be thawed for this Saturday.

Great. BUT, I just found out I had it the wrong way around- this weekend we are 7 and next weekend we are 20! ...better find something else to cook for next weekend :mad::eek::mad::eek:
