I!got a whoopsied "fajita takeaway bag for 2" marked down from £6 to £1.50 tonight (tescos own with fajitas. Chilli, wedges AND tortillas with dip!)!

Then i thought i'd try something i saw on here. I went to use the price flop £1 coupon for takeaway meal bags for 2. It didnt go through SS so SA came over and explained it expired yesterday. I simply said "if they are expired why are you still displaying 100s of them at the entrance?"

The response? !"fair enough" as £1 was knocked off my bill and all remaining mags were removed from display

So the takeaway meal for 2 cost me just 50p (and i got 1 green CC of course) :-)!

It looks great. I would have happily paid full price just a short while ago so i'm well chuffed with paying 50p

  • Evening all! Been a bit of a lurker over the last few days, not been on enough to read properly, just the odd skim over my phone. Hope everyone has had a lovely Easter weekend despite the pants weather! :D

Went to 2 T's today, managed to get some whoopsied grapes and potatoes. Not super cheap but half price which is good for a morning shop of stuff that I would have wanted to buy anyway. Thought I'd try again this avo and irritatingly missed decent whoopsies marginally again for the second time this week. Did manage to pick up some bread rolls for 12p a pack and a half cucumber for 5p. Then I got home and realised that the sticker had come off the cucumber and I'd ended up scanning the full price one . I blame the distraction of the kids! Grrrr! It's only 40p but still bugging me!

Kids are doing my head in tonight so feeling really stressed :(. DD has suddenly decided that she doesn't want to use the toilet any more  and DS, who is a bad sleeper anyway but since the clocks changed has got even worse, is screaming his head off and showing little sign of submission.

Oh, and now DD is out of her room again.... aaaarghh!!
