Back after a long hiatus:) We have made some OPs during the past few months. Hope I will be able to make more OPs in the coming months as DS2's Uni fees have been paid for this academic year.

Off to view other threads and update my signature.

:) Good Morning, fellow MFWs :)

Wishing you all a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year:)

    My to-do list:

    1. Update signature
    2. OP into mortgage-2 what is left after paying the bills, mortgage and CCs.
    3. List some more on fleabay (today it is 30% off final fees)
    4. Contact buyers to come and collect the items sold on the said bay over the weekend.
    5. Include the above takings in the OP.

Have a good and thrifty year ahead so that we can emulate GG and Tilly in their fast-track ride to FI. :)

    My to-do list:

    1. [STRIKE]Update signature[/STRIKE] DONE; added the ebay bit.
    2. OP into mortgage-2 what is left after paying the bills, mortgage and CCs.
    3. [STRIKE]List some more on fleabay [/STRIKE] no high value stuff, just things which I want someone to collect from our home to avoid the hassle of taking them to the tip; so a 99p start.
    4. [STRIKE]Contact buyers to come and collect the items sold on the said bay over the weekend.[/STRIKE] DONE, have prepared 2 items to post tomorrow.
    5. Include the above takings in the OP.

I have added the number of NSDs also to my signature. Unfortunately, today wasn't one as I was busy decluttering the shelves of MrT of the reduced price chocs; they will be handy to distribute on forthcoming occasions as they have a BBE date of 11/2015. :)

    My to-do list:

    1. OP into mortgage-2 what is left after paying the bills, mortgage and CCs. Add the ebay takings too.
    2. Declutter the freezer; it is jam-packed as of now with cooked and uncooked food. So budgeting a grocery spend of less than £100 this month.
    3. Ensure that minimum spending in done on Halif@x CC so that £5 reward is claimed; missed out on that last month due to misplacing the card during the holiday season.
    4. Look whether moving to a different energy provider brings some cashback to boost the OP.
    5. Make payment request to TCB and move it to OP pot.
    6. Move money into DS2's account for paying his Hilary term battels.
    7. Look for a new (to us) car as our current one has already clocked >100K miles.
    8. Last but not the least, relocate the orchids so that they are far away from the radiators. 3 of my orchids which have been continuously flowering for more than 6 months, are dropping their flowers now :o Unfortunately, heating in our home is so badly designed that all the radiators are right below the windows  and the orchids and other plants have taken up every inch of the available space on the windowsills.:)

    My to-do list:

    1. OP into mortgage-2 what is left after paying the bills, mortgage and CCs. Add the ebay takings too. ONGOING - £1K interim mortgage OP done.
    2. Declutter the freezer ONGOING - cooked a whole chicken and a packet of sausages
    3. Ensure that minimum spending in done on Halif@x CC ONGOING - had to spend on a new microwave for the BTL (it is a furnished one) as the older one had gone kaput.
    4. Look whether moving to a different energy provider brings some cashback to boost the OP.
    5. [STRIKE]Make payment request to TCB[/STRIKE] and move it to OP pot. £99.57 on the way
    6. Move money into DS2's account for paying his Hilary term battels.
    7. Look for a new (to us) car as our current one has already clocked >100K miles.
    8. [STRIKE]relocate the orchids[/STRIKE] - done, also potted up the amaryllis which I had bought post-Christmas from B&Q.
    9. (idea borrowed from GoldieGirl) Keep track of important household stuff by writing down in a diary.
    10. Take down the Christmas decorations and pack them ready for the attic.

Come on US that car is good for 10'000's of miles yet - you won't get to FI that way you know ;).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

That's what my OH says :D So, taking your advice, I'll strike it off the list until 'want' becomes 'need' :)
