    Very frustrating!!

If I was you, I'd phone customer services and get put through to the complaints department. I did this after they messed me around one time (thread here if you're interested) and got a £10 e-voucher off my next shop. It's not ideal, but it's better than nothing.

Warning about early deliveries taken! I generally use the late delivery, and it's usually fine.

I did phone customer services and the very helpful person informed me that the store had no stock of newspapers or cigarettes and that I hadn't been charged so why was I complaining!!!! I asked to speak to a supervisor and this was refused!

I haven't used Asda online for years - I used Tesco who are more expensive, but more reliable.
It only took one issue with me though - for some reason there was an issue with the card payment (not sure what, plenty of money in the account), and instead of ringing me for an alternative card they just cancelled the order. When my shopping didn't show I rang to find out, was told what had happened and when I asked why I wasn't contacted they said it was because I only had a home number on my account and they only rang mobiles. Hmmm. Smell !!!!!!!! anyone?!
The lady said "would you like me to add a mobile number for the future" and I said no need because I wouldn't ever be using their online service again. And I haven't.
