I hope so, I've set my expectations quite high. I'm putting a £1000 a month (and all my bonuses) in the hope of getting it cleared within three or four years. It's such a weird feeling - I'm really happy and really nervous at the same time. This morning I was able to put £500 into my savings account. These aren't savings as such but just money for the bills I'll have to pay later on - phone, electricity, etc. But I haven't been able to do that for years!I'm moving on up now,
Out of the darkness,

Hi
Time for one more before Corrie. Those of you with Payplan. When I set up my S/O online for organisation name I put in RBOS. I did not want to put in Paylink as I did not want the Halifax to know that I was paying to a DMP. The account number and sort code are for the Paylink account with RBOS. Do you think it will make a difference and, more importantly, will Payplan recieve their money. I hope they will as it is the right acc/sort code. I think I am just asking for someone to put my mind at rest.

:hello: Hi everyone, sorry haven't been around much, have been on a 64hour week last week and i am knackered, i have a read a couple of post but haven't had time to catch up on them all. I do hope everyone is ok and all going well with the DMP.
Update from me; i havent had anything too bad, just a phonecall last week from HSBC, saying id missed my payment, which i knew and they wanted to know why,i explained and he went on about the fact they would only accept reduced payments in the form of a managed loan!!! i said no cause of interest etc, then he said that my credit rating would be affected if i didn't take it out that way, i went on to tell him that my credit was well and truely down the pan anyway and that i wouldn't want another loan ever again. HE said and i quote ' you can never say never to credit' . i told him i wished i had in the first place and then i wouldnt be in this mess now. His reply was OH ok.
So i am now waiting for the final demand notice!! OH WELL!!! Interestingly though HSBC haven't added interest or late payment charges on my loan or my CC so not sure what they are up to!!!
Another creditor has accepted though, Additions but have still added a 12 quid charge for late payment!!
Sorry for the long post!!
Really hope everyone ok
Love to you all

Hi everyone
Hope everyone has had a good day!!
I've been gardening all day and my jungle is now transformed:o
Can't wait for the summer to be able to enjoy it.
yellowmonkey - Sorry I don't have any advice I'm with CCCS if you are worried why not give Payplan a ring in the morning they should be able to put your mind at rest.
Can't believe how many posts there are today and I think most of them were smilealotsl:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Well done with the ebaying Sea hope your lawnmower is ok!!
lonely - Hope you are feeling better now, I know it can sometimes feel like you are not being listened to or considered when you post but I can assure you it's not meant that way, I think it's difficult to catch every post when the thread moves so fast and people log on at different times of the day. This thread is so important to us all, just as somewhere we can talk and share, give advice if we can, but the fantastic people I have met her are in my thoughts always even if I don't post.
lenny - Well done keep up the good work. You're an inspiration to us all.:T
Hello to everyone else sorry if I haven't mentioned you all individually!!

I sent my annual review today back to payplan and I have been able to increase my monthly payment from £720 to £774 (basically my annual pay rise) and it has shaved 3 months off my DFD down from Oct 2011 to Jul 2011. In the first 13 months (Apr 06-Apr 07)of my DMP I have paid off £7920. Keep on keeping on. Lenny
Fantastic work Lenny!! If you get the same each year - then that will take off over a year won't it? So your DFD will probably be in 2010 instead - is this what you've worked out already? Fab!

95Kelly - phew! Even reading about your work hours wears me out!:) Good news about HSBC not adding interst etc to the debt despite being so pushy with the loan!
Teecee - great about the garden - have you been having this lovely weather as well? Beautiful here today.
YellowMonkey - i have no idea , but I don't think Halifax would necessarily link it anyway. I think if the sort code etc are ok then it shouldn't matter...perhaps ring Payplan to see if it's gone through in a few days?
Boot fair wise I've never really had a good buy like that, although I think I might start investigating as I know you can pick things up for much cheaper prices than Ebay.
Lonely - thanks, I think i will take you up on that offer! I would like to be fashionable with a tiny budget, but always get scared about looking stupid - also have a paranoia problem - can't you guess?!! I need to lose a bit more weight (actually need to start!!) and then I can fit into cheaper clothes shop clothes again. Have started looking at lovely wedges again now it's getting warmer as I only have trainers and a horrible pair of work shoes. I do have stilettos and high heeled boot - neither suitable for working in a school! However, you can get away with so much more with wedges.
Amani- you got anything nice planned for your son's bday?
