I have an ISA with the Abbey which as of Feb 07 was 5.35%. I can see that there are lots that are higher, but the highest one at Barclays has to be a new one. Is there anything to stop me just closing the abbey one and then putting the lumpsum in the barclays one? We have about £530 in it and can only afford £25 a month. Any advice appreciated!0

If you opened the Abbey one in financial year 06-07 then you can only open the Barclays one after the 5th April. If not then you could open a Barclays one today and another in 4days time.0

My account opening with Barclays is not going smoothly. After spending ages hitting redial on the phone, I finally got through only to be told that they can't find any details of my account. They have asked me to send in another cheque! Very frustrated with the customer service.0

What about the new egg ISA?
6.05% interest, can't transfer in, but at least you can set it all up online, unlike Barclays.0
