Pleased to report everything on the to-do list is done and prepped the lunch too. Surprising what you can do under pressure!

Guests have not arrived yet so may do a 15 minute declutter upstairs where CHAOS still reigns!

Happy Easter to you all. Did our egg hunt on Friday amongst the redwoods in yosemite which was fun and a bit snowy.
claire welcome, having been in hotels, appartments for 2 weeks now i appreciate the chaos of open plan living, good luck.

I'm guilty of lurking and not posting but will make more effort in future, pinky promise!!

Still not found a decent job which is becoming more and more demoralising and flying has been half-hearted to say the least. However I am much cheered up by the spring weather and the lighter evenings and I am making plans to de-clutter, clean & improve my house and garden on a teeny tiny budget :money:

And... today is my birthday :beer: I am sat on the sofa like a queen, not doing an awful lot :j

My gross domestic sins,
I would, so far not survive as Mrs Beatens Housemaid.
I am too far gone, to sing a song.
Another thing against me,

My housework life is not sexy.
it is not a dutiful bore.
This is off the top of my head,
With no welfare state I would be sent into Service.
No sex life etc only for Lady so and so and co.
An inferior member of the Species
who choose to defy the odds and behave in a derided 'rich' way.

Kids gone to their grandparents for sunday lunch as usual and i am having a mega clean. Today I have done

washload 1 done n hung
Washload 2 in
Change bedding
Wash bedding
Hoover
Steam floors
Quick wipe around bathroom[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Do fridge/freezer/Meal plan for week/do shopping list[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Done April to do list (which i will keep adding to)
Cleaned Microwave

Fill in allotment form and hand deliver
Get veg seeds planted
Do inventory of pantry type & print
Make homebrew
Sort out you know what !!!
Do all window frames (some have mould eeek)
- LR, DR, B1, B2, B3, K, BR
Buy hook thing & get mirror up in my Bedroom
Get blind put up properly in my room
Get dd's curtain & blind sorted
Sort out old cabling & dismantle
Clear out under stairs
Paint Downstairs Hall & Gloss Hall & Kitchen Paintwork
Sort LR cupboard, Shelf1, shelf2, shelf3, shelf4
Steam stair carpet and runner
Get stuff to charity shop

Well after dinner the tots were watching the gruffalo child with in laws so I have dusted and swept conservatory, and tidied the branch of elc that resides in there. You wouldn't know it though, as dd has tipped a box of tissues, her picnic blanket and a tub of pencils over the floor. When I asked what she was doing she said "nol nol, know" which I think means she needed to wipe dolly's nose lol. Dolly has since been discarded and she's now playing pirate ships. Fickle child.

Mum and mil helped clean up after dinner and dw has been on, we have leftovers ready for tea later, and other than toys, once again, we are in pretty good shape.
