Hello :hello: I have been lurking recently, thought it was about time I posted
DH has had a few days offbut we seem to have had a house full of other people's teenagers for the last few days!
Today is Easter Sunday! (In this house, anyway) DH has to go to work later, and will probably be working all over the weekend, again! It was supposed to be finished, but the woman who took over his job has been off since she started. Her mum died, which is awful, but she has been off since (about a month or so). Doesn't look like she is coming back, so meanwhile DH is back to square oneHo hum!
Anyway, we have had our traditional Easter Egg hunt (DH is really good at thinking up little rhymes & clues), a 'special' breakfast. Beef joint is in the oven, as we will not be having a roast on Sunday. Kitchen has been cleaned up. DH has taken DS to get some new trainers (that boy is going through a growth spurt!!) Then we are taking the dog for a walk (he is still on lead walks only since his op a few weeks ago).
My plan for today is to hang out the washing & put more on, get dinner cooked. The rest of the weekend I think I will alternate between studying (portfolio due next week!!) and spring cleaning/decluttering. Need to stay away from FB games!!
Ok - washing should be finished now, so off I go.
Hugs, sticks & spoons for those that need them.0 -
The flying lists have definitely taken a back seat this week. However, have done a few jobs on my own frog lists, and will spend the afternoon moving stuff around in son2's bedroom, in order to bring in a new storage unit.
Decided to make hot cross buns this morning, all went well until I realised I had used the wrong flour - ordinary plain instead of strong white. In fact they have come out fine, which is great - thought I would be feeding them to the hens.Motto for 2013: GET MORE DONE! AGAIN
Do an hour a day on my BOOK! Also, lose weight. And be nicer0 -
Mr LW and I have spent a productive morning sorting out the shed; we have everything out, sorted, tidied (disposed of a load of plant pots - is it just me, or do small plastic plant pots breed in the same way as wire coat-hangers?:D) and cleaned all the spider webs away; Mr LW got the hand-held vacuum cleaned with that, and polished the folding wooden chairs and table, before we put the all stuff we're keeping back in place.:T
We were aided by Jasper, who was intrigued by the whole proceedings, and had a great time running about on the back lawn and generally being Spanielish.:D
Sagaris if I remember right, 99% of beagles have RSD (Random Selective Deafness). I hope your enjoyed their walkies.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Can I ask where is the ultimate toots list please? I have searched and not found it, and there doesn't seem to be a link. It sounds just what I need!Motto for 2013: GET MORE DONE! AGAIN
