20p in the pot last night as I had 5ps and coppers rattling round my purse, and after last weeks 5p attempted escape I am reluctant to let them stay in there  what if th next one to make a runner actually succeeds

Tried to pick up the pot last night to . . you know . . . check that the money was still inside  and couldnt lift it  had to do the double handed, chest lift to get it off the floor

Shows that potting is good for you- you can bench press it now!

Sorry if I've said that before- I've got a real sense of deja vu just now...

    Hi alliboy03,

After banking with most of those on your list, I eventually fetched up at First Direct and I've been with them since 1993. I've always found them very helpful and although it's only telephone or online you can use the HSBC branches if you need to. I think it's also the most recommended bank. Good luck, anyway.:)

Potted about £7 this week, which is about half of what I should be potting. Will have to do better. And where have all the £2 coins gone??? Sparky, are you buying them in bulk???:D

    Oops x
I know this is a couple of weeks old but I'm on catch up as Ive been very poorly in bed with flu etc. Thank you I shall have a look at first direct:) best wishes
