Tried a small shop at Aldi and was shocked at the massive difference in prices compared to others stores with all thier pretty packaged brands. Amazed at the quality of products we bought and fussy hubby didnt complain!. :) (some bits are yet to be eaten). Im actually quite excited at the thought of doing my first "big shop" there. Need to remember my carrier bags so i dont end up paying for thiers (very frugal of me ;) )

I like to alternate between different supermarkets (mainly M0rri$on$ and Waitr0$e 'cos they're on my way home)- that way I get more choice. There is a L1dL near me as well- might try doing my weekly shop there too...

When you look at the cheap meals boards this helps shopping at places like these. Amazing how many you can feed hearty meals for a low cost. :)

Been to Mr C today as had a £6 off £40 spend and we had no meat other than the yummy DR mince, having a rummage in my purse to see if any of my coupons can be used and I feel something fall out of my purse and hear that horrific chink sound . . . i'd dropped money   cue Miss Lily and I on our hands and knees looking for the escape artist, its ok though we found it under a fixture, was one of those darned 5p's. To think I nearly made roadkill for someone else

no pennies for me today as totally lost my head after the above and paid by card instead of cash :o
