Lovely to hear you had such a lovely time on holiday at the IOM, Rosyq. As yet you haven't had another star awarded, I think perhaps you saw your name on the list when I was pointing out to others that I wasn't giving stars out willynilly. ;) I hope that helps you.

Oops! Sorry Sue I meant the stars on the left hand side; I've changed from a money-saving convert to a money-saving stalwart and gained a star :)
I haven't had any from you yet :( but I'm sure my time will come...

Potted some change last night, and some more to go in tonight if I go to the gym :j

    Ps another £2 :)

Another £5.45 added to the pot :) Got quite a bit of change today somehow, although 1p of that was roadkill - well, found behind the tv roadkill

I did spend £35 on myself - needed a new winter coat as my other one was ripped to shreds inside and got some body butter because I ran out.

The coat was from debenhams, was on sale because the winter season is over and it was £100 but got it for £30! Bargain, I love it! The body butter was the blueberry one that I love and use almost daily.

Strange thing about that though... When I popped in originally they said they couldn't sell it to me because they only sell the blueberry one when it's on sale, but the lovely lady checked if she could sell it to me anyway for the normal price (£12) and then she went to speak to the manager... she came back and said that she could sell it to me - at the sale price of a fiver!

    Happy days!

Although, on a sad note, but haven't said on here (or anywhere for that matter) me and my girlfriend of 2 1/2 years broke up a couple of days ago :(

Glad I got the stuff cheap otherwise I think I would have spent a lot more than that on the coat... needed the retail therapy!

    Life goes on!

Anyway... bedtime for me, have to be up in six hours! Night night folks!

Morning everyone, lovely and sunny here at the moment, hope it stays that way but the forecast isn't good.

tomjo7 sorry to hear your news :( but glad you told us cos now you have somewhere to go for cheering up when you need it. Your bargains sound good :) though I don't understand why the shop would have a product they only sell in the sale - that seems mad to me! Don't they want to sell it?!

Anyway I'd better go to work and update later when I've been to the gym. Keep up the good work everyone :)

    Morning Everyone

    Where is everyone?

It seems very quiet on here. GS seems a lot better in fact back to normal will be glad when we can go out. I'm sick of watching Mickey's Clubhouse!!!

Have just banked £500 so have put it in my signature Sparky. Didn't want to leave money in house while we was away even though son and family will be here some of the time.

Hope you are all well Catch up later.

Hope your problems are all sorted Sue!

You all been good?? (perhaps best not to answer that either!!);)

Will catch up with all the posts over the next couple of days but just had to tell you that I found 10.05 Euros ferry kill and 10c beach kill in Ostende :T

    I looooove belgian beer :D
Only managed to squeeze 8 cases in the car:o because we had 80 litres wine and 6 litres Gin taking all the space:o:o:o

The good news is that the upfront investment means we wont have to buy any booze for the rest of the year and we saved the equivalent of the cost of the holiday :D

Hello all newbies - pleased to meet you (I'm not a heavy drinker really!!):A

    Happy potting everyone.

Afternoon all, not too busy at present, but usually gets like this in th summer, remember, LC 2? They'll be back soon enough even if it is in dribs and drabs.

Thanks ETO and LC 2, just something huge on my mind, but nothing with my dearest & I  I'll get there...given time. Thanks anyway though..you're both sweeties.

Not to worry, Rosyq, with all these ruddy stars tis a wonder I'm not seeing the darn things in my sleep. Well done on the "money-saving stalwart" status! Ah, your time will come in getting one of mine, sure to. :)

Sad news indeed, tomjo, but as you say, life goes on and no doubt someone special will come into your life..when the time is right. Meanwhile you have some gorgeous gifts at amazing savings, excellent!!

So good to hear your DGS is getting better, LC 2! Great news about the £500 banked and thanks for putting it on your siggy. BTW, I do hope you keep migraine free when on holiday!

I missed you, Kylie and remembered you went by ferry to Belgium and hoped to go to France for the booze, you say it'll last all year, b****r that would last us a lifetime as we're teetotal!!!! :rotfl:Great ferrykill and good savings all round, well done you!

Possibly see you later, folks. Keep saving and don't worry, LC 2, there's room for the 3 of you in Cheshire.

Have a great Thursday folks....run between the showers!
