Good morning everyone
Sparky announcing my total of £2574.62 :j this total includes the interim total 0f £660.60 which consisted of £2 & 50p's.

We have some great totals coming in so far :j

Jakes-mum well done on th debt free status, feels good hun, doesn't it. I would never be debt free if I had not stumbled across this site. :j

Sue nice to see you encouraging the gang late into the night X.
BTW it was my cousin's funeral yesterday, only 54 he went suddenly and unexpected. Thanks for the kind words X. :kisses3:

I banked the last of my money yesterday, except the 1,2, 5 and 10 that didn't make complete bags and have the grand total of £405 (£320 in £2, £60 in 20p and £25+ in shrapnel).

I picked up the laminate flooring for £12 I think so the rest hopefully will pay for my tiny bit of flooring to be fitted. £320 is possibly not enough to pay for my new fridge freezer next year when my kitchen is redone but I will continue to add to it.

DD wedding fund is pitifully small but as the engagement is now no longer and her current boyfriend doesn't ever want to get married then I'm guessing there's no rush for that fund lol.

This year I shall be saving my £2 and 20p for a new cooker I think. I'll aim for £300 but I know money will be much tighter next year therefore less chance of any spare change. We shall see...

Hello there, RVK2 and fantastic news on your savings!!!!! :T Well done with the flooring, though a shame about the fridge freezer, but it'll give you something to aim for (isn't there always!). It sounds as though the DD Wedding fund can go towards you FF maybe, or keep it in case he changes his mind - you know what fellas are like! :rotfl:

I'll be counting up my total tonight after work - very excited about what might be in there!

My new pot is now painted and ready to be filled - OH even started it off with a shiny pound!!

A bit of last minute potting in this years - found 97p in a coat I've not worn for ages and after buying a drink at climbing I potted 27p - the last bit of the year.

Right then, folks! Here's hubby's and mine! Though DH & I were almost in a state of shock just now....!

.....we've saved darned hard this year, and chuffed to little mint balls at an amazing £694.53 :eek::eek: This'll all go towards our dream of hiring a motorhome in June to go to the Highlands of Scotland, something we just couldn't afford to do this year to celebrate our Ruby Wedding

We're absolutely delighted and to everyone here....thank you ALL for motivating me too! :j
